Student answer (Band 5.5)
People all over the world have all rights to use clean water in their daily routines with free of cost. I agreed with the statement, water is an key component in humans life to survive on this planet. And also it must be provided without any cost of payment.
Firstly, Water is very essentials to daily life of human needs as well as living things too. Having access on every drop of water is a basic human right. Because every day the routine starts with wateruse, If it is provided with any cost it may leads to face major consequences towards the world. Additionally, People are very cruial on making money by selling water without any garuntee of cleanliness. If earning money through water continues then their must be major drawbacks face by people all over the world. For example, selling of water must be done by filteration of ground water, In which ground water are wasted more to produce little amount of filtered water with adding drinking minerals. Here to produce drinking water more water were wasted.
On the other hand, people must know that the value of every single drop of water on earth. As technology and generation changes people are wasting clean water than using it in proper way. They should aware about sustaiblity of clean water. For those people society should make understood the problems we face in future. Moreover, People should understood the value of clean water instead of wasting them by getting free of cost to use. If wasting water continues by every human on earth they must be face major issues on geting access on clean water at free of cost.
By concluding , People must aware of clean water and must used for sustainbility. And also they should know the value of it and should thing about we are geting them at free of cost then we use it for not getting them for a particular.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that water should be free. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you mention the importance of water for survival and the potential for exploitation by companies, the arguments are often repetitive and lack logical depth. For instance, the discussion on filtration and waste is somewhat tangential to the core argument of whether it should be free. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a distinct, well-supported reason rather than circling back to the same points. The conclusion is also somewhat confusing and does not clearly summarise your main arguments.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the progression of ideas is often disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is frequently mechanical or inaccurate, such as starting sentences with 'And also' or 'Because every day'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly in the final paragraph where the connection between 'sustainability' and the 'free of cost' argument becomes muddled. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'nevertheless') and ensure that each sentence flows logically from the previous one.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and often repetitive. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'wateruse', 'cruial on making money', and 'make understood'. Some words are used incorrectly, such as 'sustaiblity' (spelling) and 'thing' instead of 'think'. While the meaning is generally understandable, the lack of precision and the high frequency of spelling errors (e.g., 'garuntee', 'filteration', 'geting') significantly impact the quality of the writing. You should focus on learning the correct spelling of common academic vocabulary and practicing collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are often marred by grammatical errors. There are frequent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'ground water are wasted', 'people should understood'), article usage, and sentence fragments. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with commas often used incorrectly or missing entirely. These errors occur throughout the text and occasionally cause the reader to pause to decipher the intended meaning. To reach a higher band, you need to focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring consistent verb tense usage.
