Student answer (Band 6.0)
Clean water is the basic necessity of every single person in this world. Therefore, a group of people believes that the access to clean water is the basic human need due to which the supply is essential in every single household of this world.
First and foremost one is healthy and disease free body. In order to keep our body illness free, it is necessary to have clean water. For an instance, a survey is conducted in a two different areas of same city which shows that the 75% of people having access to clean water is healthy as compared to other area having normal water. Secondly, it helps to save fuel cost because if people get clean water then they do not need to boil it before drinking. In small cities of some rural areas where it is difficult to find the clean water, they starts boiling water so that all the bad bacterial get out of the water and then they can drink it.
Also, the other reason is less need of new and costly equipments. In order to get clean water for drinking, most people buy water purifier which is expensive and not in the budget of poor. people due to which they keep themselves deprived of fresh water and get prone to harmful disease easily. The Hindustan time posted the report in 2020 that around half the population of our country is unable to get access to safe drinking water due to its expensive cost. Last but not least, infants body is less adaptive due to which they easily get prone to harmful diseases that can even cause death if they are not able to get safe drinking water.
To replicate all these I cam to an conclusion that as its pros of clean water is greater then it's cons, I am in total accord of the statement that everybody should get the access to clean water no matter where they live or what their status is in this society.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of providing free water. However, the argument is somewhat one-sided and lacks a counter-argument or a discussion of the economic feasibility of 'free' water, which is a key implication of the prompt. While the ideas are relevant, they are occasionally under-developed. For example, the mention of a survey and a specific report adds some weight, but the analysis of why the government should bear this cost versus individual responsibility is missing. The conclusion is clear, but the overall development could be more nuanced to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'First and foremost', 'Secondly', and 'Also', though some transitions are a bit mechanical or repetitive. The referencing is generally clear, but there are instances where the flow between sentences feels slightly disjointed, particularly in the second paragraph. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct points, which helps the reader follow the argument. To improve, you should focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that the logical progression between ideas is smoother.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and sophistication required for higher bands. There are some awkward collocations and word choices, such as 'replicate all these' instead of 'summarize these points' and 'in total accord of the statement' instead of 'in total agreement with the statement'. Additionally, there are minor errors in word form, such as 'equipments' (which is uncountable) and 'bad bacterial' (which should be 'bacteria'). While the meaning is always clear, the range of vocabulary is somewhat limited and relies on basic phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'a group of people believes' (should be 'some people believe'), 'they starts boiling' (subject-verb agreement error), and 'as its pros of clean water is greater then it's cons' (should be 'as the pros... are greater than its cons'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are issues with article usage and pluralization throughout. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding the message, they occur frequently enough to limit the score.
