Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, as it is only 158 words long. This significantly impacts the development of ideas, as the essay is incomplete and cuts off mid-sentence. While you state a clear position in the introduction, the supporting arguments are underdeveloped due to the lack of length. To improve, you must ensure you provide a full introduction, at least two well-developed body paragraphs with specific examples, and a concluding summary. The current response is too brief to fully address all parts of the prompt.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay shows some attempt at logical organization, using transition words like 'The first and foremost reason' and 'As a result'. However, the abrupt ending and the incomplete nature of the second body paragraph disrupt the flow of the argument. Paragraphing is attempted, but the second paragraph is left unfinished, which hinders the overall coherence. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph is fully developed and that ideas are linked smoothly throughout the entire essay, rather than stopping mid-thought.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is somewhat limited and repetitive. There are frequent spelling errors such as 'morden' (modern), 'sholud' (should), 'addvantages' (advantages), 'houeshold' (household), 'rick' (risk), 'undrinkable' (undrinkable), and 'stmock' (stomach). These errors, combined with basic word choices, indicate a restricted range. To improve, focus on accurate spelling and attempt to use more precise, academic vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'subsidized,' 'infrastructure,' or 'public health initiatives,' rather than relying on simple phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('water become', 'number will drope down'), incorrect verb forms ('water sholud supply'), and missing articles. Sentence structures are mostly simple, and the lack of completion makes it difficult to assess your ability to use complex structures effectively. To improve, focus on basic sentence construction, ensuring correct tense usage and subject-verb agreement. Proofreading for common errors like missing 's' on plurals or incorrect verb forms will help improve your accuracy significantly.
