Student answer (Band 5.0)
Obviously, Access clean water is the basic right of humans. But every home should have a water supply is the free of cost. I strongly disagree this trend because no doubt government they can facilitate their clean water but you don't pay water supply this is a bad habit and bad thing.
Firstly, the access of clean water is a basic human right. this is a very important thing that they can should spend a better and long life they can use a fresh mineral water in daily life. The main reason they don't disease and effect in your life for example, they use mineral water they don't effect in your lungs and many other parts of your own body.
On the other hand, every home should have a water supply daily So, every home pay this goverment because government can provide your fresh and clean water. every person should pay a water supplier because they can complete your duty regularly and many other things consume this process. For instance, they consume fuel on your motorbike, they waste time daily, and many other things they can lose every things. So, every home should pay by government for cleaning water.
In conclusion, I strongly disagree this trend because I don't wanna the loss of every water supplier rider, every filtration plant. So, every home can pay by government because government can built a more dams and stored water in dams and than make a country name in all over the world.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against free water supply. However, the development of ideas is limited and often repetitive. While you mention the importance of water as a human right, the arguments regarding why it should not be free are underdeveloped. For instance, the focus on 'water supplier riders' and 'motorbikes' is not directly relevant to the broader economic or social policy of water provision. To improve, focus on more substantial arguments such as the necessity of funding infrastructure, maintenance costs, or the prevention of water wastage through pricing mechanisms. The ideas lack depth and logical extension, which keeps the response at a lower band level.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the progression of ideas is often disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, such as the repetitive use of 'So' and 'every home'. Referencing is frequently unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the logical flow of your argument. For example, the transition between the health benefits of water and the economic argument for paying for it is abrupt. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive, relying on basic terms like 'bad thing', 'important thing', and 'many other things'. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'don't disease' instead of 'prevent disease' and 'pay by government' instead of 'pay the government'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas clearly. To reach a higher band, you should work on using more precise terminology related to public services, economics, and infrastructure, and focus on using words in their correct grammatical context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'every home should pay by government'), sentence structure, and article usage. The range of structures is limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences with some attempts at complex ones that are often faulty (e.g., 'I don't wanna the loss of every water supplier rider'). Punctuation is also inconsistent. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct verb tenses, and reducing the frequency of errors that make the text difficult to read.
