Student answer (Band 6.0)
Clean water is considered to be a great proof for the fundamental human rights. As a result, It is often argued that every individual should have a free access to clean source of water. I completely agree with this view because water is one of the vital requirments of everyone’s life and governments should have a great contripution to keep this.
The primary reason is that water and food are expected to be essential rights for every body. This is mainly because it usually involved in each and every aspect of people’s lives. A good example of this is children need clean water to grow and succeed. Moreover, water is needed for making food and has a role in many jobs such as cafe and restaurants. As a result, water plays a crucial role in people’s lives and is supposed to be a minimum requirment for improving their quality of life.
Another important point is that governments have a significant role to garantee a clean water supply for everyone. This can be explained by the fact that governemnts should introduce laws and enforce regulations to protect water from any hazards. Furthermore, it has to invest in the infrastructure and cleaning water programs to ensure that water is provided fairly to all population. For instance, in Egypt, the government has a great system for cleaning the water of Nile river and ensures that it was tranported to support all people in the country even in rural areas. Therefore, governments should keep their resposabilities about the availability of water for each and everyone.
Taking everything into consideration, I firmly believe that water is essential for all the people in the world. This is mainly because it was contriputed in every detail in our lives. Finally, governemnts have a great role to preserve a natural resources of water to all population and also for the future generations.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt clearly, maintaining a consistent position that water should be provided free of charge. The ideas are relevant, such as the role of water in public health and the responsibility of governments. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat repetitive, particularly in the conclusion, which restates points already made without adding depth. While the example of Egypt is relevant, the explanation of how the government manages this could be more detailed to fully support the argument. Overall, the response covers all parts of the task well, but the depth of analysis remains at a general level.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. Cohesive devices such as 'The primary reason', 'Moreover', and 'Taking everything into consideration' are used to guide the reader. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is interrupted by awkward phrasing or minor errors in referencing, such as 'it usually involved' (referring to water) and 'it was contriputed'. While the progression of ideas is generally clear, the use of cohesive devices could be more sophisticated and varied to achieve a higher band.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'infrastructure', 'regulations', and 'fundamental human rights'. However, there are several spelling errors ('requirments', 'contripution', 'garantee', 'resposabilities') and some awkward collocations ('great proof for', 'keep this'). These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the range and precision of the language. To improve, the student should focus on accurate spelling and more natural word combinations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb tenses and subject-verb agreement, such as 'it usually involved' instead of 'it is usually involved' and 'it was contriputed' instead of 'it contributes'. Punctuation is generally functional, but there are minor issues with capitalization and article usage. The control of complex structures is inconsistent, and the frequency of errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band, although these errors rarely cause confusion for the reader.
