Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response is significantly under the required 250-word minimum, which severely limits your ability to develop your ideas. While you state a partial agreement, the arguments are underdeveloped and the essay is incomplete, ending abruptly mid-sentence. Because the task is not fully addressed due to the lack of length and incomplete structure, it falls into the lower bands. To improve, you must ensure you provide a full introduction, two or three well-supported body paragraphs, and a conclusion, while meeting the word count requirement.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.5
The essay lacks a clear structure. While there is an attempt at paragraphing, the abrupt ending makes it impossible to evaluate the overall progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are used in a very basic or mechanical way, such as 'To commence with' and 'In the other hands'. The lack of a logical flow and the incomplete nature of the text mean that the reader struggles to follow the argument. You need to focus on linking sentences more naturally and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.5
Your vocabulary is limited and there are several errors in word choice and spelling that occasionally impede communication. For example, 'duestilation' (distillation), 'concequines' (consequences), and 'cureless' (likely meaning 'pure' or 'safe') are incorrect. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle to express more complex ideas accurately. To improve, focus on learning the correct spelling of technical terms and expanding your range of topic-specific vocabulary related to public services and economics.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with articles ('To Access of pure clean water'), subject-verb agreement, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or poorly constructed, such as 'It is noticeable that not possible to provide pure wate'. The range of structures is very limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences with errors. To improve, focus on basic sentence construction, correct use of prepositions, and ensuring that every sentence has a clear subject and verb.
