IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Access to clean water is a basic human right. Therefore every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charge.
Do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 4.5)
Nowadays, the trafic have meke massive problem in many cities. Futhermore, the pollution spoil the envirnoment with very big ratio. so, i completely agree with this statement "Taxes on fuel are the best way to solve traffic and pollution problems" This essay will discuss the argue and then it will draw the conclusion.
If the government apply taxes on fuel, the price of fuel will also rise. if the price of fuel is rise , the people reduce the use of cars, motorcycl, and other thing that run on fuel. Futhermore the people will use public transport, For instance trains, buses etc, instead to use own cars. Then the problem of trafic will solve. Moreover less use of own vehicles is also a sourse to clean the envirnment. when the people don't use own cars, the pollution problem will not rise.
The taxes on fuel are also a sourse of save our lives. because if the taxes on fuel are rise, obviously, people don't use own cars. The traffic accidents will reduce due to less use of cars. it is valuable to menshion here according to survay report of 2020, "The 10 thousand people died in 2020 due to traffic accidents". Futhermore, less use of own cars, bikes that is also a source of reduce the pollution, due to pollution many diseases cause in every year.
In conclution we may say that the taxes on fuel will also a source of reduce trafic, trafic accidents, rise the value of public transport, moreover reduce the pollution.
