Student answer (Band 5.5)
I totally agreed on providing clean water to human is the rights for each one of us, without purify water people cannot live. Although there is plenty of water in this world, but 75% is sea water and 3% is drinkable. Government should free tax charges on home supply.
Now days, each of the basic necessary in the daily life has charging taxes including water supply. Main reason is due to shortage in water supply, and unpurified water with bacteria which government neglected and add taxes on such things. Although it can solve through adding eco friendly projects such as rain harvest, in which amount water can save through rainfall. For example Install rain harvester on each roof top of building, it will collect lots of amount rainwater throughout the pipe in the big vessel. Due to this method authorities can provide free charge on citizen.
Second reason of not getting purified water supply is unclean pipes and water sources. For example ulhas river is the main source of water supply for cities, but due to factories and chemical water get polluted at same time. Although the solution is simple transfer the industrial area in different zone. Hence it may not pollute the river again.
In conclusion, the both solution are necessary to get clean water without government charging for providing clean water. By resolving the problems it might chance to get clean source for each one of us in future. Hence following the guidance citizen get the proper clean water without paying any penny to the authority

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of free water supply. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide two main reasons—rainwater harvesting and industrial relocation—the explanation of how these specifically lead to 'free' water is underdeveloped. The argument that government should 'free tax charges' is a bit simplistic and lacks a deeper exploration of the economic implications. To improve, ensure that your supporting points directly and logically connect to the core argument of why water should be free of charge, rather than just focusing on how to clean it.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'Although it can solve through adding eco friendly projects' is grammatically awkward and lacks a clear subject. Transitions between sentences are sometimes abrupt, and the referencing (e.g., 'the both solution') is occasionally unclear. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in addition') and ensure that pronouns and determiners clearly refer back to the intended nouns.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'free tax charges' instead of 'subsidize' or 'waive fees', and 'without purify water' instead of 'without purified water'. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle with collocations. To improve, try to incorporate more academic vocabulary related to government policy and environmental management, and pay closer attention to word forms (e.g., using 'purification' instead of 'purify').
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. Frequent errors in verb tense, article usage, and sentence construction (e.g., 'I totally agreed on providing', 'it might chance to get') occasionally impede the flow of ideas. Many sentences are missing necessary articles or have incorrect prepositions. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Additionally, try to proofread your work specifically to identify and correct run-on sentences or fragments.
