Student answer (Band 5.5)
Easy Accessibility to clean water is a basic human right. Therefore houses are supposed to have a water supply of fresh and clean water that should be free. Water plays a significant role in human life. Humans and all the living organisms on earth cannot live without water. From my perspective, I completely agree with this statement. There are numerous benefits of doing this, few of them will be discussed in this essay.
To begin with the financial benefits an individual will having easy access to clean water will save a person precious money and time that he spends on purchasing water. For example a person living in Dubai spends one fourth of his income on purchasing water. If the government provides him free and fresh water supply. He can save that specific amount which he can invest in stocks or save he can save it for future use. Furthermore a person is not worried about water bills eventually he will drink more water.
Secondly there are numerous health benefits. This can prevent kidney failure and other serious stomach diseases. Drinking a lot of water is very beneficial. The Minimum water requirement for an adult is two to three liters a day. When he will achieve this requirement on a daily basis as a result he will feel healthy and energetic. His skin will start to glow. His hairs will get strong.
In conclusion water plays a significant role in human life. The facility of free water is advantageous for both financial and health .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention financial and health benefits, the arguments lack depth. For instance, the claim that a person in Dubai spends one-fourth of their income on water is an unsupported and unrealistic generalization. To improve, you should focus on providing more logical, evidence-based reasoning rather than anecdotal or hyperbolic claims. The conclusion is also quite abrupt and does not effectively summarize the main points or restate your position in a sophisticated manner.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally inaccurate. For example, the transition 'To begin with the financial benefits an individual will having...' is grammatically awkward and disrupts the flow. Additionally, the referencing is sometimes unclear, and the progression between sentences within paragraphs could be smoother. While there is a logical arrangement of ideas, the lack of sophisticated linking words makes the writing feel a bit disjointed at times.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for a higher band. You rely on basic terms like 'significant role', 'easy access', and 'beneficial' repeatedly. There are also some minor collocation issues, such as 'invest in stocks or save he can save it'. To reach a higher band, you should aim to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary related to public policy, economics, or health, and avoid repetitive phrasing. The current range is sufficient to communicate your meaning, but it does not demonstrate flexibility.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('His hairs will get strong'), incorrect verb forms ('an individual will having'), and punctuation errors, such as missing commas after introductory phrases. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are persistent throughout the text. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like article usage and verb tense consistency. Increasing the variety of complex structures while maintaining accuracy is essential for a higher score.
