Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is widely acknowledged that sterile water is a fundamental human right.Hence There should be offered free of charges water supply given to every house.

Therefore,I firmly support there should be free of cost water supply for every house hold because water is the most essential need and basic human right given by the nature.

According to my opinion ,The state should take essential measures to fulfull the daily vital needs for every household such as nowadays its an era of latest renewable sources to produce electricity just like solar pannels to run water motors to pump water and supply free of charges to fullfill every house needs,By this step electricity to water plants become free of cost and residents become less stressful rather then giving charges of their basic human rights.

On the other hand,The state can also provide solar panels on installments for one time to water plants from which they can took benefits but this may cause interuption in winters as the solar panels can't work properly in winters so state can't able to give free of cost electricity to every water plant its a major drawback so They should take several measures to took advantages from several resources such like germany they use wind turbine and japan they use water turbine to produce free of cost elcetricity which can fulfill the essential needs for daily life.

In conclusion, while access to potable water is undoubtedly an inalienable human right, providing unlimited free access threatens municipal infrastructure and risks resource depletion. A balanced approach where a basic daily quota is state subsidized while excessive consumption is metered serves as the most viable strategy to protect both public welfare and environmental sustainability

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt, but the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you state a clear position, the supporting arguments are somewhat tangential, focusing heavily on solar panels and renewable energy rather than the broader economic or social implications of free water. Furthermore, the conclusion introduces a completely new, more nuanced perspective—suggesting a 'balanced approach' of quotas—which contradicts your earlier firm support for free water. This shift makes the overall argument feel disjointed. To improve, ensure your main body paragraphs directly support the position stated in your introduction and maintain that stance throughout the essay.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow is frequently interrupted by awkward transitions and run-on sentences. For example, the transition 'On the other hand' is used to introduce a point that does not effectively contrast with the previous paragraph. Additionally, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as the repetitive use of 'free of charges' and 'to take measures'. The referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the progression of your argument. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. You frequently use basic phrases like 'free of charges' and 'essential needs' throughout the text. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'sterile water' (when you likely meant 'potable' or 'clean' water) and 'took benefits' (instead of 'benefit from'). While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'renewable sources' and 'municipal infrastructure', these are often used in contexts that feel slightly unnatural. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of synonyms and learning the correct collocations for academic writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'state can't able to give'), punctuation (missing spaces after commas), and sentence structure (e.g., 'Hence There should be offered...'). You rely heavily on simple sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences often result in errors, such as the run-on sentence starting with 'According to my opinion'. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring proper capitalization, and using commas correctly. Reducing the number of errors in simple sentences is a priority before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
