Student answer (Band 5.0)
Access to pure water is fundamental right of human being. So every home must have direct free supply of pure water. Yes i totally agree with this point.
As many of the diseases arises because of poor water quality, so buying pure water is costly and not everyone can't afford it. Second main reason is poor quality of tap water and ground water.
Many of harmfull diseases like Hepatitis , maralia , chest infection , Typhoid Fever caused by bad water.
So it is becoming very common and spreading at a exponential rate because it is available in water and easily spreadable. So for peoples maintaining a safe diet require pure water which is expensive to buy from market. So government should supply it free of cost.
Another main reason is poor quality of tap water and ground booring water.
In my country alot of people depend on tap water and their own ground well water. Which is of bad quality but people dont notice this and dont do proper tests before using it for drinking and cooling. So government should educate people about it by some seminars , TV advertisments , and door to door guidance. Also by providing these test at free of cost.
In conclusion I totaly agree with it because pure water is necessary for living healthy just like oxygen, so government should own this and supply free water.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position, but the development of ideas is limited. While you mention health risks and the cost of water, the arguments are repetitive and lack depth. The essay is also under the 250-word minimum requirement, which significantly impacts the ability to fully develop the response. To improve, you should expand on your points with more detailed explanations or specific examples. For instance, instead of just listing diseases, you could discuss the socio-economic impact of water-borne illnesses on families. The conclusion is brief and does not add new insight or summarize the main points effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow between sentences is often mechanical. You use basic cohesive devices like 'Second main reason' and 'So', but the logical progression is hindered by short, choppy sentences. The referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the sentence 'So it is becoming very common and spreading at a exponential rate', where it is ambiguous what 'it' refers to. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that connects back to your main argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision expected at higher bands. There are several spelling errors, such as 'harmfull', 'maralia', and 'booring', and some word choice issues, such as 'ground booring water' instead of 'groundwater'. You rely on simple, repetitive language. To improve, try to incorporate more academic vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'infrastructure', 'public health initiatives', 'socio-economic barriers', or 'potable water'. Expanding your range will help you express your ideas with more sophistication and clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Issues include missing articles ('fundamental right of human being'), subject-verb agreement ('many of the diseases arises'), and punctuation errors. The sentence structure is often repetitive, relying heavily on 'So' to start sentences. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like article usage and pluralization. Incorporating more complex structures, such as conditional sentences or relative clauses, would also help demonstrate a wider grammatical range.
