Student answer (Band 5.0)
Yes, the access to clean water is a basic human right. Therefore every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charger. Because water is the necessary for human beings for living. Clean water is used for drinking drinking , cooking and other purposes. so it is the basic human right to access to clean water.
But the bigger problem is that it is not supplied free of cost in some countries like Haiti or other poor countries , but the problem is not stopped here in some developed countries water is not supplied free of of cost and charges a lot of tax and fairs for supplying clean water.
As the water is basic need of daily life so it should be supplied free of cost to each home . Now days, there are many resources of clean water and there are many techniques or methods to clean the uncleaned water of seas and glaciers to make their water to drink. So, that's why we could not say that the shortage of clean water is the bigger problem for fairing of clean water. There are lot of people who meet with diseases like Dirreah due to not access to clean water because they were not able to pay the charges.
Providing clean water to ever hone is the responsibility of the government. Government have to make sure that that the clean water is supplied daily and free of cost to the every hone to save people from problems. So I was in the favour of supplying water to each home free of cost.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of free water supply. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention health issues like 'Dirreah' (diarrhea) and the role of government, the arguments lack depth and supporting evidence. The essay tends to repeat the same point—that water is a basic need—rather than exploring the economic or logistical implications of providing it free of charge. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the 'how' and 'why' of your arguments, perhaps discussing the balance between government responsibility and the costs of infrastructure maintenance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow between ideas is often mechanical. You use basic cohesive devices like 'But', 'So', and 'Therefore', but these are sometimes used incorrectly or repetitively. For example, starting sentences with 'So' or 'But' frequently makes the writing feel informal and disjointed. The progression of ideas is present, but the lack of sophisticated linking words makes the transition between the problem (lack of water) and the solution (government responsibility) feel abrupt. Improving the variety of your transition signals would significantly enhance the logical flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. You frequently use basic terms like 'clean water', 'free of cost', and 'basic human right'. There are also several spelling errors, such as 'charger' instead of 'charge', 'fairs' instead of 'fees', 'Dirreah' instead of 'diarrhea', and 'ever hone' instead of 'every home'. These errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding. To improve, you should focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary related to public services, infrastructure, and socio-economic issues, and pay closer attention to spelling and word formation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are some attempts at complex sentences, they are often marred by grammatical errors, such as 'Because water is the necessary for human beings for living' and 'Government have to make sure that that the clean water is supplied'. There are frequent errors in article usage, subject-verb agreement, and word order. The punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas and periods. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like missing articles and incorrect verb forms.
