Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argued that clean water access is a fundamental right for every individuals. So each household should be provided a water source free of cost. I strongly agree with this view because this approach would minimise the burdan of expenditure regarding bills and promote healthy lifestyle.
The primary reason why i agree with this view is that it can make people stress free in term of paying costly bills. This is largely because water is a basic nessecity of each house, providing water acess free of cost can reduce the stress of individuals who have to pay others kinds of bills also. These can be electricity, gas etc. This make difficult for a person to manage all this along. For instance, free acess of a water reduce the anxiety, if the household owner gets high bill beyound his wage. Therefore, providing people free acess can definity have benfits in term of costly bills.
The another reason for this positive approach is that it promote clean and healthy lifestyle. This is mainly because water is the main thing that is used in large quantity everday in each household. Water usage can be seen in washing dishes, cloths, floors, drinking and also to clean ourselves. If the access is free, everyone could use it for various purposes, that helps to clean environment and promote healthy lifestyle. For example, the survey shows in pakistan, mostly people have free of cost water that is widely use for cleaning puroses and there is no specific bill for it. Thus, this approach could be beneficial in improving clean and healthy lifestyle.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that water should be provided to each household without any charge. This is primarily because it could remove the burdun of bills for people and also promotes clean and healthy lifestyle.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position and providing two main supporting arguments: financial relief and hygiene promotion. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the argument regarding 'stress' is restated multiple times without introducing new dimensions. The example provided about Pakistan is relevant but could be more effectively integrated to support the broader argument. To reach a higher band, you should aim to explore the counter-arguments or the economic implications of 'free' water more thoroughly, rather than focusing solely on the personal benefits to the individual.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'The primary reason', 'The another reason', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'The another reason'. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear; for example, in the second paragraph, 'These can be electricity, gas etc.' refers back to 'bills' in a slightly disjointed manner. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother flow between sentences would enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, but there are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'burdan', 'nessecity', 'acess', 'definity', 'puroses') and some awkward collocations (e.g., 'stress free in term of paying', 'others kinds of bills'). While your meaning is generally clear, these errors occasionally distract the reader. To improve, focus on mastering the spelling of common academic terms and pay closer attention to word choice. Using more precise vocabulary, such as 'financial burden' instead of 'burdan of expenditure', would significantly elevate the quality of your expression.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are persistent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the another reason', 'a water'), subject-verb agreement ('it promote', 'this make'), and pluralization ('every individuals'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are some issues with comma usage. The errors do not impede communication, but they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, especially regarding articles and verb endings, will help you achieve a more polished and professional tone.
