IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Access to clean water is a basic human right. Therefore every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charge.

Do you agree or disagree?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Polluted water has become a widely debated issue in recent years. While some people believe that dirty water is dangerous for human health. I strongly agree with the statement because harmful water causes many diseases and disturbs the whole system of our body.

The main reason why i agree is that the polluted water in our sewage system causes many diseases when you drink it and used it for other purposes. This is because in our environment from children to the elderly every person is targeted by a lot of diseases like Cholera, Typhoid, etc. This clearly shows that when we are targeted by the any type of disease, so our body health is affected by this type of diseases. Therefore, takes some action against government members for our social rights like access to clean water.

Another significant reason is that the government workers did not work on this issue and always take money from the government but did not work on this human right problem. In other words, we takes an action against this main issue and solve it in the next few months. A good example of this we can seen in the neighbourhood countries where every government worker does his work by heart and full of intention. As a result, people of every age have a smart and fit and performs our daily work with full intention.

In conclusion, i completely agree that the main point which is that the access to clean water is a basic human right. This is mainly because it is a basic right of every community members and it want to the peoples. At the end, the one more human right is that authorities should take an action against our workers and gives a free of charge water supply for the residents.
