IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Access to clean water is a basic human right. Therefore every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charge.
Do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
I agree with this statement that every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charge.
If I talk about my city water suply is not provided free of charge to every home.As we know that there are different kind of areas are there in the world some are well developed, some are rural areas and some are countryside areas. I think that it totally depend on the location of area that it was given free supply of water. If I talk about my city it is a rural area where some of development have come.There are not much resources of water supply.people of my area went to other areas in search of fresh water.So people have to struggle to get water.In some areas of our city they have provided free water supply because they are advanced and the pipe lines of water supply could easily reached there so thats why they can gat free fresh water.The area where I use to live is a rural are and the pipe lines could not reached there so we cannot get free fresh water.
I think that everyone have a right to gat free fresh water because every one have the other difficulties too in their life so if they get free fresh water then they give attention to their other works too. they can spend more money to their other difficulties of life too. So thats why I think that everyone must have right to get free fresh water.
The best example of not provided free fresh water is Kenya. there are no pipe lines of fresh water. They have to buy it from different stores.those who had no money to buy fresh water they drink dirty water to survive. They have to struggle alot to get fresh water .
By Contrast, It is necessary for all humans to get free fresh water . No body could survive without fresh water . Some areas could not get fresh water because of some basic reasons so goverments should do some thing to give them fresh water.
