Student answer (Band 5.0)

In this globe drinking water is a significant role for everyday survival to all human beings. So that accessing to purified water is a basic human right and everyone should have a proper water supply in their homes as a free of cost. Therefore i extreamily agree to this statement beacuse water is a crusial part for our basic surviving.

First of all, drinking water is the main resource for aliving human life. While every individual should have a right to get pure drinking water supply in their homes. Because governments should make a consideration toward the nation or in a society. For instance if a residents consumes clean water they will have a healthy and hygine lifestyle. Therefore every homes should have structured water supply line with free of charge and which makes them easy to access.

Secondly, in many countries there are lots of crisis in water which people get severe challenges in their basic survival. However, pursuing clean water is a vital role in their daily life. In other to more over the world there are lots of oganization and i think they should have to take a actions for the people to get pure drinking water in their homes. Because water is a most usefull things to every individual and it should be provided in free of cost to everyones home. Thats why all human beaings survive esily and keep them heathy and hydreated. For example water is a source of energy to grow all organisam and plant.

In conclusion, i think water should be clean and purified in everywhere like in the sea, rivers, pond, lakes etc. Since we can get clean accessable water and we need to cooperate with all humans to cleaning our environment. So that it would be convinient for government to supply water lines easily.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The student addresses the prompt by clearly stating their position in the introduction ("i extreamily agree to this statement beacuse water is a crusial part for our basic surviving"). The response attempts to cover all parts of the task by discussing why water is a fundamental human right and why it should be provided free of charge, supported by reasons such as health benefits and survival needs. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive, with over-generalised points. For instance, the discussion on organisations taking action and the concluding thought about cleaning oceans and ponds drift slightly away from the core debate of home water supply provision. Overall, the task is addressed, but the depth of argument aligns best with a Band 5.5 to 6.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into four paragraphs, showing an attempt at a conventional structure including an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, logical progression is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and confusing referencing (e.g., "In other to more over the world there are lots of oganization"). Cohesive devices are used mechanically or inappropriately, such as the repetitive starting phrases like "First of all" and "Secondly," and the misuse of transitional words like "So that" and "Therefore." Paragraphing is visible, but the flow within paragraphs is disjointed, which pulls the score into the Band 5 range.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently revolving around words like "water," "clean," "basic," and "survival." There are noticeable lexical errors and incorrect word choices throughout the text, such as writing "free of cost" instead of "free of charge," "aliving human life" instead of "living human beings," and "hydreated" instead of "hydrated." Additionally, spelling mistakes are prevalent ("extreamily," "crusial," "hygine," "oganization," "beaings"). While meaning can generally be extracted, the resource is limited and errors cause some difficulty, fitting the Band 5 descriptors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control is weak, leading to frequent grammatical errors. Sentence structures are often awkward or incomplete, as seen in "In this globe drinking water is a significant role..." and "So that accessing to purified water is a basic human right..." Punctuation and capitalization are also problematic (e.g., lower-case "i" used for the personal pronoun, missing spaces after periods). Errors occur in almost every sentence and frequently impede smooth reading. This level of grammatical accuracy and range is consistent with a Band 5.
