Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is often asseted that it is the most signigicant human right to having the access of clean and cogent water.furthermore every house should br free connection of water .There are no amount of charges should be applied on water access.I am totally aggree with the statement because water is the natural blessing or it is crucial for human survival. Without water there is no life.So everone should have right to access with clear water.
The primarly reason is that water is not only important for human life ,there isa no life exist without water. It is important for single human to take 7 glass water in the day. water perform important rolein our bodies . If the qualitiy of the water will low , then , how over body perform well. Dirty or crap water holds many diseases like Deiria and many more diseases. For insance, in Pakistan's desert riegon speacily in Thar people have no access of clear water the alot of people mainly childern died due to the crap and impurities in water.
The secondly reason is that , clear water is not only related to thre health issues due to the crap water crops and environment also have been effected . harmful metals in water reduce the nutrients in the soil and cause the barren land this thing bad impact on aggriculture . Due to the dirty waters over home appliances like water machines addtionally fridge easily get rust.
Ultimately, it is clear that every single human should have access to clear water. As most of the people in slum areas could not afford to buy clear water so, the water supply shoud be free for all people regardless of discrimination.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by clearly stating a position agreeing with the statement that clean water should be free. The main ideas, such as water being essential for survival and the health consequences of impure water, are relevant to the topic. However, the development of these ideas is limited and sometimes superficial. For instance, the mention of desert regions in Pakistan introduces a relevant real-world example, but the explanation remains brief and lacks full elaboration. Furthermore, the argument regarding home appliances getting rusty due to dirty water is somewhat peripheral to the main human rights argument and detracts slightly from the overall focus. Because the ideas are presented and a clear stance is maintained throughout, the response aligns best with a Band 5.5 to 6.0 level.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, demonstrating an awareness of standard essay structure. However, paragraphing and logical progression are frequently hindered by erratic punctuation, spacing issues, and mechanical transitions such as 'The primarly reason is that' and 'The secondly reason is that'. Referencing and logical links between sentences can be disjointed, causing the reader to pause. For example, moving abruptly from human health issues to crop damage and home appliances weakens the flow of the second body paragraph. Overall arrangement is evident, but cohesive devices are often faulty and inaccurate, placing this response securely at a Band 5.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and heavily impacted by numerous spelling and word-choice errors that occasionally impede communication. Throughout the text, words are misspelled or improperly formed, such as 'asseted' for asserted, 'signigicant' for significant, 'cogent' for urgent or clean, 'aggree' for agree, 'primarly' for primary, 'Deiria' for diarrhea, 'riegon' for region, 'speacily' for especially, 'childern' for children, 'aggriculture' for agriculture, and 'shoud' for should. While the student attempts to use some topic-specific terms like 'nutrients', 'barren land', and 'appliances', the high frequency of lexical inaccuracies restricts the score to a Band 4.5, rounded to 5.0 based on positive descriptors of communicating basic meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
The grammatical range is restricted primarily to simple and attempted complex sentences, many of which contain severe structural and punctuation errors. Examples include awkward phrasing like 'it is the most signigicant human right to having the access of clean', 'There are no amount of charges should be applied', and 'there isa no life exist without water'. Frequent errors are present in verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, prepositions, and sentence boundary punctuation (such as run-on sentences and missing spaces after periods). These persistent grammatical inaccuracies cause frequent difficulty for the reader and prevent the text from reaching higher band levels.
