Student answer (Band 4.5)
It is a fact that clean water is a need for people to live. In many parts of the world water is beenfiltered from the lakes and oceans in oreder to supply to homes in cities.
From my prospectives I absolutely agree with this development that water should be supply free for charge as it is a cruitial right to be given to humans and as a matter of fast water is tottaly natural sourse which is our need to stay alive. Whearas water should be suplied to homes free for charges because this is our right to have the one. On the other hand where water is not supplied to homes and is said to be saled so that should not be happened and this will cause many problematic causes bacause many poor people who are not able to buy there neccesseties so how will they get able to buy water to drink.
All around the world this thing has been agreed that clean water is a common human right and should always be provided to them and drinking clean water is everyone's need in order to stay alive. In addition I would love to mention that for a true humanity inside ourselfes we should always try to provide clean water to those people too who are not getting this convenience and are not getting enough water to drink so we should take care of those people and provide clean water to them so they may be happy to and won't feel any loneliness in their country.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response attempts to address the prompt by agreeing that clean water should be provided free of charge, citing reasons such as human rights and natural availability. However, the development of ideas is limited and repetitious. For instance, the writer reiterates the points about human rights and staying alive multiple times in sentences like "this is our right to have the one" and "drinking clean water is everyone's need in order to stay alive," without adding new supporting arguments or fully exploring the economic implications of free public utilities. The position is stated, but the overall extension and support of ideas remain basic, corresponding to a Band 5 level.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays some overall organization, opening with an introduction and attempting body paragraphs, but there is a distinct lack of clear progression. Sentences often run together with repetitive phrasing and inadequate cohesive devices, such as the overuse of repetitive transition words and phrase fragments like "Whearas water should be suplied to homes free for charges." Furthermore, paragraphing is poorly managed, resulting in a dense and unstructured final body paragraph that bundles multiple emotional appeals together rather than building a logical argument. Referencing is also unclear at times, leading to a Band 4.5 or rounded 5.0 performance.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.0
The vocabulary used is basic and frequently repetitive, with numerous spelling and word-choice errors that occasionally strain the reader's comprehension. Examples include "beenfiltered" instead of filtered, "oreder" instead of order, "prospectives" instead of perspective, "cruitial" instead of crucial, "tottaly natural sourse" instead of totally natural source, and "saled" instead of sold. The writer attempts some less common terms like "convenience" and "neccesseties," but spelling mistakes and awkward collocations such as "problematic causes" limit the lexical range to a Band 4.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
Grammatical control is weak throughout the response, featuring a very limited range of accurate structures. The text is heavily marred by frequent errors in punctuation, run-on sentences, and basic verb forms, such as "water is beenfiltered," "water should be supply free for charges," and "how will they get able to buy water." Complex sentence attempts are consistently faulty, and punctuation is largely neglected, resulting in long, unpunctuated clauses that hinder smooth reading. These pervasive errors place the response firmly in the Band 4.0 category.
