Student answer (Band 5.0)

In this time period every household should have water supply, so that people can access and use it, that too free of cost. I totally agree with this point where people should have a potable water and it's a basic human right to get it in a free.

In my experience having access to clean water supply in each household can impact very much to a person health and it keeps person fit too.

The recent study shows the Government allowed each household to have a 1 free water supply lane that can help a family to surivie. It impacted very much to a person body, as the skin is sensitive and get effected by contaminated water, so because of this clean filtered water gives essential minerals. Everyone in socities uses free water supply for cooking food as well for grooming. Not getting a clean water leads to so many problems and diseases, it is recorded by the hospitals that many outskirts of the city don't have a free clean water supply, because of that they had to suffer from vast disease and struggling to overcome from the effect.

As I have mentioned that clean water keeps every individual fit and allows them to move actively all the day. The cambridge sutdent has researched recently that how the people's health physically impacting on consuming a clean water, as well as a contaminated one. The results comes up with very bad about the contaminated water, the people who consumed they do have a bad skin and dealing with weak bone density and the good results recorded by clean water consumed by people, results good health.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position agreeing that water should be provided free of charge, and attempts to support this with ideas regarding health benefits and government initiatives. However, the development of these ideas is limited and repetitive. For instance, the mention of 'the cambridge sutdent has researched recently' introduces an unsupported and unconvincing example rather than well-extended reasoning. The arguments tend to over-generalize the connection between free municipal water and specific health ailments without deeper analysis. Consequently, the task is addressed, but the support remains somewhat basic and under-developed, aligning best with Band 5.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into four paragraphs, showing an attempt at organisation. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and confusing sentence connections. For example, phrases like 'that too free of cost' and the abrupt shift from the government study to skin sensitivity lack smooth cohesive ties. Referencing is occasionally unclear, as seen in 'it impacted very much to a person body', where the pronoun antecedent is vague. Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion is mechanical and inadequate at times, which pulls the overall coherence down to a Band 5.0 level.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The student uses a limited and repetitive range of vocabulary, relying heavily on basic terms such as 'water', 'health', 'clean', and 'people'. There are noticeable lexical errors and awkward collocations throughout the text, such as '1 free water supply lane', 'vast disease', and 'struggling to overcome from the effect'. Word formation errors also occur, such as 'effected' instead of 'affected'. While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the general topic of water access, frequent errors and a restricted range place this performance firmly at Band 5.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The text displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, with frequent errors in both simple and complex sentences. Punctuation and article usage are weak, illustrated by errors such as 'in this time period', 'get it in a free', and 'consuming a clean water'. There are also structural errors and awkward phrasing like 'the people who consumed they do have a bad skin'. Complex sentence attempts are frequently faulty, and errors cause occasional strain for the reader, matching the descriptors for Band 5.0.
