Student answer (Band 4.5)
to be honest from my personal i am totally agree with this statement because wqater is very curcial for all humans in the world. Initially, many indviduals in pakistan pay for clean water supply for drinking but if goverment provide clean water to every home so every poor , needy also rich people can enjoy clean water free of cost. Second reason is that, people can save from many harmful diseases because when some people do not have enough money for water so they drink any type of water in this way their stomachs are upset and they feel nozia . Furthermore, i will dicuss about free water supply all our the worlkd because its a basic human need in this way indviduals save lot of money and can buy food for their childrens. some its a piece of cake for some human that they spent lot of their money just for cristal water but on the other their are lot of people they do not have resources so they cant spent money on water. There are more reasons why i agree with this topic because there are children and babies in every home so they also need water so if they drink dirty water just because they are not finacially better. in this way , many babies loss their lives due to dirty water its hurt baby stomach in very bad way neverthless babies stomachs can not take any type of pain pain so free cost of water supply is really significant. to sum up, water is most basic need of every human so no one need to pay for clean water. its a resposibility of goverment that they can handel every thing and provide clean water in every home.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response presents a clear position in agreement with the statement that clean water should be provided free of charge, supporting the stance with reasons such as public health benefits, disease prevention, and financial relief for low-income families. While the ideas are relevant, the development lacks depth and contains some repetition, characteristic of Band 5 descriptors. Examples like mentioning babies and diseases are introduced, but they remain somewhat generalised and lack specific elaboration. However, all parts of the prompt are addressed, and a clear overarching view is maintained throughout the writing.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.5
The text shows an attempt at logical organisation with transition words like 'Initially', 'Second reason is that', 'Furthermore', and 'to sum up'. However, the paragraphing is poor, as the entire response is presented in one continuous, overly long block of text rather than distinct paragraphs. Referencing and cohesive devices are sometimes mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'some its a piece of cake for some human'. Progression is also hindered by run-on sentences and punctuation issues, which often obscure the connection between ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently relying on simple terms like 'water', 'people', 'money', and 'home'. There are numerous spelling and word-choice errors throughout the text, including 'wqater', 'curcial', 'indviduals', 'pakistan', 'goverment', 'nozia', 'dicuss', 'worlkd', 'childrens', 'cristal', 'finacially', 'loss', 'resposibility', and 'handel'. These errors and the limited lexical range cause noticeable difficulty for the reader and reflect Band 4 performance.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
Grammatical control is weak, with a very limited range of structures successfully employed. The text is dominated by frequent errors in basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, capitalization, and punctuation. Run-on sentences and comma splices are prevalent, such as in 'second reason is that, people can save from many harmful diseases because when some people do not have enough money for water so they drink any type of water...'. Complex structures are attempted but are almost always faulty, leading to frequent errors that strain the reader's understanding.
