Student answer (Band 5.0)
Access to clean water is very important role of all the human being. So i am strongly agree with the statement, Beacause we all know that the goverment provide water supply free of cost to all house to drink safe but some of us don't save the water. Some people throw waste in rivers which effect water so i believe that people need to aware that water is very important for us in future as well.
To being with main points of clean water, the first main point is our health which can affect by dirty water . this dirty water affect health and cause various diseases like cough , cold, fell illness are just common but some people facing major diseases which is very dangers .Next go for second importances of clean water , we know water is very important in future because in future we maybe face lack of water . Nowdays , we see that less rainfall in some areas just because cuting of trees and forest can affect water cycle. So if we don't throw garbage in river its helpful for our future generation.
Now try to find out the benefits of clean water, as we see that water is very essential for our lives and clean water have various benefits.Firstly, water use for drink, bathing, washing clothes, washing vessels , plant also need water. So all the houses have water storage . water come from rivers ,lake which we use in daily basic .
The main problem is water storage cleaning . some many people cann't clean water storage which know for water tanks. people need to clean it timely so they get clean water . Second issue face people waste water more because goverment give free of cost water without charging a single ruppees. But we need to save it . For example, vegetable washing water can reused to give it to the plant and if any tap leaking in our home we need to repair immidiately if possible.
Overall, I hope that people always know our basic rights how to clean and reuse water to save water consumption. More important to save our future with doing one step of save water. We strongly agree that if goverment provide water supply free of charge its not means that we waste it, we just perserved it.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The student attempts to address the prompt by stating an opinion on whether clean water should be provided free of charge, discussing health implications, future water scarcity, and water conservation. However, the development of ideas is limited and at times disjointed. For instance, the writer mentions that 'government provide water supply free of cost' but quickly shifts into talking about waste, water storage cleaning, and reusing vegetable water. The position is stated ('i am strongly agree'), but the main arguments lack clear extension and logical progression. Key parts of the prompt, such as the philosophical or economic reasoning behind clean water as a basic human right versus municipal provisioning, are only superficially touched upon. Consequently, the task response aligns with a Band 5, as the ideas are somewhat limited and under-developed, and the response only partially addresses the broader implications of the task.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into five paragraphs, attempting to structure the arguments into an introduction, body points, and a conclusion. However, the overall organisation lacks a clear progression. Transitional phrases such as 'To being with main points of clean water' and 'Now try to find out the benefits of clean water' are unnatural and mechanically forced. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or inaccurately, and pronoun referencing is frequently unclear (e.g., 'this dirty water affect health...'). Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal flow within paragraphs is often disrupted by abrupt topic shifts, such as moving from disease discussion straight into future water scarcity. These cohesion issues make the text feel disjointed, fitting the Band 5 descriptor where organisation is present but overall progression is lacking and cohesive devices are inadequate or inaccurate.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student demonstrates a basic and limited vocabulary. Words and phrases are frequently repeated or used with incorrect collocations and word forms, such as 'human being' instead of 'human beings', 'fell illness' instead of 'falling ill', and 'dangers' instead of 'dangerous'. There are also frequent spelling and phrasing issues like 'goverment', 'ruppees', and 'immidiately'. While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey basic concepts related to water usage, health, and conservation, the noticeable errors and restricted range prevent the response from achieving a higher band. This performance reflects a Band 5 profile, where the lexical resource is limited and errors cause some difficulty for the reader.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The writing exhibits a very limited range of grammatical structures. The majority of sentences are simple or attempt complex forms that result in structural faults, run-on clauses, or fragments. Examples include 'So i am strongly agree with the statement, Beacause we all know that...' and 'Second issue face people waste water more because goverment give free of cost water...'. Punctuation and capitalization are frequently erratic, with spaces placed incorrectly before commas and periods. Grammatical errors are highly frequent—such as missing articles, incorrect verb tenses, and subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., 'clean water have various benefits', 'people need to aware')—which cause frequent difficulty for the reader. This corresponds to a Band 4 descriptor, as errors are frequent and pervasive throughout the text.
