IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Access to clean water is a basic human right. Therefore every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charge.
Do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
Water plays an crucial role in our life .Some peple think that it should be include in a essential human right.Thats why in every house must have a water supply and it should be totally free .I completely agree with this statement because it protect us from many health problems and save a lot of amount of the nation tax.
To commence with,we are living in modern world.Population is increasing day by day rapidly.Cities are spreading more and more and cover land area too much.So the water become a major problem nowadays.Thus some people think that the govenment should need to improve the water purifying system by applying differrent ways.Fhe major one is that by giving people free water supply .This is due to the individuals of every country paid a lot of taxes to the government .For instance the nation of every country paid taxes in the form of mobilephones,electricity bill,gas bill and custom tax etc.So the government need to use these taxes in a positive way .For example by providing people free supply of clean water.
On the othe hand , if individuals will starting to drink purify water then they will protect their self from many serious diseases.For instance ,a person who use clean water on daily basis he will be more healthy than the man who use dirty water to drink.So purify water protect the people from many diseases.If the people are healthy than the government do not need to build the more hospitals .A major proportrion of money should be safe and it will be use for other necessary things which are required for the nation.
In a nutshell, according to my point of view this purpose have positive changes more as compared to negative.By applying this rule we can control many major health problems .So in a every single home the supply of clean water must be installed by the government of that country which is totally free of charge.
