IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Access to clean water is a basic human right. Therefore every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charge.
Do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some individuals admit that access to clean and drinkable water is basic human right. Therefore every household should have a water supply that is given free of charge. I absolutely agree because it is mandotory to have a clean and hygienic water for good health of people and it is one of the basic need to live a healthy lifestyle.
Overall, in my opinion water is the basic human necessity to survive. It is essential to get water from a clean and hygeinic resource. First major reason is bad quality water invites vast majority of illness and another is drinking clean water eliminate chances of growing of bad bacterias.
water is important in lot of aspects of our daily routine. A human body comprises of 75% of water and if we cannot get clean water for use it will definately affect our health. We use water for many different reasons. Water coming from a bad resource will invite lot of medical problems. For example, bad quality of water used for cooking can invite diarrhea and other illnesses. Vast majority of people living in slums and crowded places face the same exact problems. Very much every household has one person affected by use of unclean water.
A chance to get a clean water is a human need to function properly. A lot of households like slums and regional areas do not have the access to hygeinic water. Water holding lot of minerals can help in boosting the immunity of an individual.
In conclusion, in my opionion it is a moral duty a every goverment to provide their people with good quality clean and hygeinic water free of change. Because this will help people be healthy and counter the illnesses properly.
