Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is often arged that access of water is a basic human need. Therefore free water supply in every domestic unit should be essential because it is the basic individual right. I Completely agree with this view because water is essential for everyone to survive and healthy for human health.

One of the main reason why i agree is that water is necessary for every individual mental and physical health. It gives nutrients to our body and strengthen our well-being. It act as a protine which makes our body hydrated. For example , employers, students and many individuals who are work holic, they really need to be carry water bottle with them via travelling, due to it strengthen our musles and makes us healthy and people can esaily perfome well when their bodies haing enough water.

Another reason is that, water is compulary for human health and should be provided free of cost. Government should be introduced free water supply program to each household because it is the basic human right to get an access to it. While on the other hand, it is also crucial to provide pure water so that it can not harmfull for human mental and physical well-being.

In conclusion, access of filtered water should be a human right, but proper measurements and following rules to proper use is highly important for both human consumptiona and health. It should be free for everyone because it is a god giffted thing which Allah has giiven us for our need.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response presents a clear position throughout: the writer completely agrees that water should be provided free of charge because it is a basic human right and essential for health. All parts of the prompt are addressed, and the central arguments regarding health and human rights are introduced. However, the development of ideas lacks depth and contains confusing explanations, such as claiming water 'act as a protine' or suggesting it strengthens muscles during travel. Because some ideas are under-developed or supported by scientifically inaccurate and confusing examples, the response aligns best with Band 5.0 for Task Achievement, where ideas are somewhat limited and lack thorough support.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay is divided into an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, showing basic paragraphing awareness. However, the overall progression of ideas is hindered by repetitive phrasing and awkward transitions. Cohesive devices are sometimes used incorrectly or mechanically, such as 'While on the other hand' in the third paragraph, which does not introduce a contrasting point appropriately. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and logical links between sentences can be weak, as seen in the sudden shift from hydration to muscle strength and workaholics. These features place the response firmly at Band 5.0, where organisation is present, but progression lacks clarity and cohesion is inadequate or inaccurate.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited and often inappropriate or inaccurate. The writer attempts some less common words, such as 'compulary', 'work holic', and 'consumptiona', but these attempts are frequently marred by spelling and word-choice errors. Basic collocational errors are also present, such as 'access of water' instead of 'access to water' and 'human health' repetitively used in close proximity. While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the basic premise of the argument, the frequent errors in word formation and spelling cause some difficulty for the reader, which is characteristic of Band 5.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but control over grammar is weak. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('Government should be introduced', 'bodies haing enough water'), missing articles ('access of water'), and incorrect prepositions. Many complex structures are faulty, and punctuation errors are noticeable, such as unnecessary comma splices. These frequent errors cause some difficulty for the reader, although the meaning remains mostly retrievable. This performance corresponds to a Band 5.0 in grammatical range and accuracy.
