IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Access to clean water is a basic human right. Therefore every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charge.
Do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
water is the basic survival of human beign .without Water it is impossible for any human bieng to live.Clean Water is the basic essential thing for every human.The Government must provide the basic necessities which include water,gas,transport and electricty.Right now in many countries peoples are unable to get clean water They are still drinking unhealthy and dirty water which causes them severe dieases and affetcs their health badly.Its a government main repsonsibility to supply clean and healthy water to all homes in both cities and villages without any cost.
In my country there are many places in which peoples unable to get clean and healthy water.They need to buy them from the water tankers which is worse.If the government does not provide clean water to their citizen than the peoples has to drink this unhealthly water which effect their internal body system such as lungs,hearts and other respiratory system and this leads to harmfull disease.Another factor is not every person has financial capacity to buy the expensive water from different water tankers..
Another important fact is its makes an major impact on economic growth of any country specially the agricultural part..If the crop does not get clean water than all the crops will be destroyed and there will be shortage of food in a country also its effects the export of the country,same its impact in dairy industry also if the cows and buffalos does not get fresh and healthy water then they will be die and which cause shortage of milk and yougurt in country.
The conclusion is clean and healthy water is the basic human need and its government rmain responsbility to provide them at their homes without any cost.Also the government should do a crack down on water theifts,arrest them and punish them in that way that later on nobody will try to repeat this crime
