IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Access to clean water is a basic human right. Therefore every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charge.
Do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years. I totally agree in this statement that the basic human rights can’t be noticeable. Access the neat and clean water supply in houses and also everyone got the clean water supply free of cost. Government should not take the water taxes and also every peoples have some personal water compartment zone in their houses to get easily and prevent water. This essay will examine and give appropriate example.
To begin with, water is a god gifted liquid and nowadays government and private bodies are applying the tax on water and this is not good for people. Water bills are compulsory in the megacities this is the responsibilities of government to protect human rights they are not only giving tax but also giving burden to them to use less water and I personally think that this they release the tax and give free water. For example, In Germany government are not taking tax from people and give purify water to their public and this is one of the best thing.
Additionally, This is our responsibility to protect and store water we get free water from rain and if people think then they can store water like rain water harvesting and buy on reverse osmosis (R.O) plant and they can use that water in that day to day life. This is not only government responsibility also we can play our role in such things. For example, This is my personal example that I store the rain water and I install the rain water harvesting system in my farm house as well as in my house so I got water easily and hove much I want I can pump it.
To sum up, both government and human should understand that it’s not only one side responsibilities I agree that government pull the tax and give free water supply, but also human need to aware from this situation because we got free resources and we utilize it in proper manner.
