Student answer (Band 5.5)

Clean water is obe of the basic survival need on every individual, therefore every house should have access to free water resources. I strongly agree with the perceptive due to the fact that this will promote healthy life style and will prevent harsh dieases and as well as it is easily afforded by every person.

In contemporary world, where advancement is given top priority, things like water management is often neglected. This is core responsibility of government sector to take initaitive to supply clean water to every house of the state without any cost . Additionally it will reduce the risk of containment of harsh diseases which can easily enter into human body through water and cause severe health issues like kidney failure, food poisoning and furthermore will enhance the importance of healthy environment.

Anthor optimistic aspect would be to those who cannot afford the bills or charges of clean water resources. They usually have to choose between food and water. If it is recongized as basic human right , why to pay cost for it? The purpose of the government is to serve their citizens, not to make profit out of their basic needs. For instance countries like Ireland and Slovenia is providing free water to their nations making it poosible.

In conclusion, clean water is equally as essential as other basic needs. Whereas I believe it will promote humanity as a whole and a safe and healthy envirnoment for every individual of the state , and can be a affordibililty of every house .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response presents a clear position throughout, agreeing that clean water should be provided free of charge, and supports this view with relevant ideas such as health promotion and government responsibility. Examples are provided, such as the mention of Ireland and Slovenia. However, the development of ideas remains somewhat general and lacks deeper extension. For instance, the discussion on people having to choose between food and water is introduced but not fully elaborated with concrete details or consequences. The response addresses all parts of the prompt adequately, placing it firmly in Band 6.0.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The essay has a coherent overall arrangement and is divided into logical paragraphs with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Additionally', 'Anthor optimistic aspect', and 'In conclusion', though some are mechanically deployed or misspelled, such as 'Anthor'. Referencing is generally clear, but the logical progression between sentences is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing and abrupt transitions. Paragraphing is used sufficiently to structure the argument, satisfying the requirements for a Band 6.0 performance.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The student attempts a range of vocabulary appropriate to the topic, including terms like 'advancement', 'containment', and 'recongized'. However, there are numerous spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'obe' instead of 'one', 'dieases' instead of 'diseases', 'initaitive', 'containment' (used where contamination was likely intended), and 'poosible'. Word choice and collocations are occasionally unnatural, such as 'harsh diseases' or 'affordibililty'. Because these lexical errors occur frequently but do not impede overall communication, the vocabulary level aligns with Band 5.5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some control over clause structures with constructions like 'In contemporary world, where advancement is given top priority...'. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with missing articles ('This is core responsibility of government sector'), preposition usage ('afforded by every person'), and subject-verb agreement or tense consistency ('countries like Ireland and Slovenia is providing'). Punctuation is also slightly flawed in places. These errors occur frequently across the response, causing occasional difficulty for the reader and restricting the score to a 5.5.
