IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Access to clean water is a basic human right. Therefore every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charge.
Do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Access to clean water is essential for human right and I strongly agree that every household should have a water supply that is provided free of charge.
The one important reason is that clean water play a crucial role in every human and its a fundamental needs for human survival because clean water is only use for drinking water and mostly clean water is used in cooking foods and washing domestic dishing moreover, eating the unhygienic foods and drinking the water obviously it may lead toward the health issues furthermore, water in not only use for product or other equipment its a human requirement for live long term.
Another important point is that government should take the responsibility for supply free of clean water in every household. for example, if the water totally free of charge provided from the government then everyone feel safe more and consumption of water become increase however, if the government provided clean water with tax or too expensive then people avoid to take or drink clean water and poor families cant afford it as well as consumption of water may decrease in addition it may lead towards harmful effects in human life while clean water is the basic necessities for human activities.
In conclusions, every house have a basic supply of water for without paying for it and poor individual cant afford expensive water .Nevertheless, charging for clean water could prevent and manage the water in best ways but consumption of less water may lead toward health problems.
