Student answer (Band 5.0)
Water is very essential and important for all the living beings and living things. Access to clean water is basic and necessary for the human rights. I argue that water is very necessary for the human beings for the survival of the people and the animals and also be healthy fit and fine and the diseases free.
Having free access to the water is very helpful for the countries people because without water there is no existence of the human beings on the earth. Althrough human bodiescover more than 80% of water so there is no dream to be alive living beings without the water. For example : if you give the water to the person for the one month he/she can be survived but if you give only foods to the person for one month he/she cannot survive for the one month without water so, water is very very essential for the co-existence of people on the earth.
Clean water provides the energy and power to the person and also make the living beings free from diseases. Many people in Nepal dies due to the lack of good and clean water facilities. According to that, clean water is being basic right for all the people who lives on the planet and clean water also play important role for the development of the country because when the people became healthy they can do different kinds of jobs or the development works for the upliftment of the country.
In conclusion, i would argue that clean water should be given to all the human beings who lived on the planet and should provide the water for the free of cost because the people who are healthy, fit, fine and diseases free they can help in the development of the country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear opinion that water should be provided free of charge, supporting it with reasons such as health benefits and national development. However, the ideas are somewhat limited and under-developed. For instance, the argument regarding national development in paragraph three is repetitive and lacks extension. While the position is visible, the development remains basic throughout, preventing a more thorough exploration of this complex social issue.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay displays some organization with clear paragraph breaks and a basic introduction and conclusion. However, there is a lack of clear overall progression, and ideas tend to loop or repeat rather than build logically. Cohesive devices are occasionally inaccurate, repetitive, or mechanical, such as the frequent reliance on conjunctions like 'and' or phrases like 'For example :'. Referencing is also sometimes unclear, which disrupts the smooth flow of the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The writer relies heavily on basic, repetitive words and phrases, such as 'very essential and important', 'healthy, fit and fine', and 'free of cost'. There are noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and phrasing, such as 'diseases free' instead of 'disease-free', and 'human bodiescover' instead of 'the human body consists of', which occasionally cause some difficulty for the reader.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writing demonstrates a limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences with frequent attempts at complex structures that often turn out faulty. There are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation, including articles ('the water', 'the human beings'), preposition use ('survived by' versus 'survived'), subject-verb agreement ('people who lives'), and run-on phrasing. These persistent errors can cause some difficulty for the reader and restrict the grammatical score.
