Student answer (Band 5.5)
Its an right to every individual to get clean water and should be provided to every home free of cost.
I totally agree with this point because water is the basic necessity of a person because a human body consist a large proportion of water.A person cannot survive a lot of days without water but he can survive without food and other things.Clean Water is every important also for the health of an individual because if the individual home dont get clean water than the washing of clothes and the utensils will dirty water will leave germs to it and it can have an bad effect to an individuals health.Drinking of clean water is also very important because if an individuals drinks and polluted or unhygenic water that can also have bad effect to the health of the individual. Many people use unclean or unhygenic water because the clean water they cannot afford that is one of the reason they should be provided clean water free of cost.
A big example of it is one of cousin who suffered with food poisoning just because of drinking unhygenic water. We should also stops the waistage of clean water because it is also a great reason that shortage of clean water becomes and the cost of clean water becomes high.
The individual who waist clean waters should be imposed heavy fines because it is a basic neccessity of every individual and if the individual waste it it becomes short. The storage of clean water should also be fined or stopped because the people who can afford stores and than sell it with high cost thats unaffordable for poor.
The access of clean water is the basic right and necessity of every individual and no one has the right to snatch it from the individual

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your response addresses all parts of the prompt by taking a clear stance on whether clean water should be provided free of charge, supported by relevant main ideas. However, some ideas are more fully developed than others. For instance, your point regarding health implications and affordability is expanded upon, whereas other aspects, such as the logistics of free provision, remain limited. To reach a higher level, you need to extend and support all of your main ideas fully throughout the essay, ensuring that every argument is thoroughly explored with deep analysis or broader implications rather than moving quickly between points.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
Your essay presents an overall coherent arrangement, and you have attempted to group your thoughts into paragraphs. However, the organization lacks a clear overall progression from sentence to sentence, making the logical flow feel somewhat mechanical. Cohesive devices are sometimes inaccurate or repetitive, such as the repetitive use of pronouns and simple transition markers like 'A big example of it'. Furthermore, referencing is not always clear, which can leave the reader pausing to connect ideas. To improve, you should ensure that each paragraph builds logically upon the previous one and utilize a wider, more natural variety of cohesive links to guide the reader smoothly through your arguments.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common words and phrases like 'basic necessity' and 'food poisoning'. However, there are noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and spelling that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader, such as 'waist' instead of 'waste', 'unhygenic', and phrases like 'suffered with food poisoning' instead of 'suffered from'. Additionally, there are spelling slips like 'every important' instead of 'very important'. To achieve a higher score, you need to expand your vocabulary range, use less common lexical items with greater precision regarding style and collocation, and eliminate spelling and word-choice errors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as conditional structures ('if the individual drinks... that can also have bad effect'). However, your writing contains frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that can cause difficulty for the reader. These include issues with articles ('Its an right', 'an bad effect'), verb forms and tenses ('human body consist'), prepositions ('effect to an individuals health'), and run-on sentences lacking proper punctuation. Your attempts at complex structures are often faulty. To progress, you should aim to increase the proportion of error-free sentences by paying closer attention to subject-verb agreement, article usage, and punctuation while exercising tighter control over complex sentence patterns.
