Free accessibility to clean water has become a subject of considerable debate. This issue is significant due to its potential impact on health of individuals. I agree with the statement that water should be provided to every house free of cost, as this is also a basic human right.
Modern world has been facing many problems including less fresh water resources. Additionally, increased environmental problems includes dessertation, extreme temperatures and water pollution leading to clean water shortage. Moreover, these issues resulting in less water availability to common people, which has raised a major concern now. For example, many areas like Islamabad, Lahore and Mandi-Bahauddin in my country are experiencing lower water levels. Water seeped from drains to deep layers of soil has polluted fresh water. This may consequently lead to permanent clean water loss in the near future. People are facing difficulty in finding underground waterbodies. Therefore, they have to use the available water, either it is clean or not.
Water is a natural resource. And every human deserves access to clean water.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, as it contains only 184 words, which significantly limits the development of ideas. While you attempt to address the prompt by expressing a clear position that water should be provided free of charge, the ideas remain limited and under-developed. For instance, the mention of environmental problems and local examples like Islamabad and Lahore is cut short without fully connecting them back to the core argument of whether water should be free. To reach a higher level, you must write at least 250 words and extend your supporting arguments with fully explained examples and logical deductions.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is some basic organisation in the text, with an introductory paragraph stating your position and subsequent body paragraphs attempting to discuss environmental and local issues. However, there is no clear overall progression, and the response ends abruptly. Paragraphing is used, but the individual paragraphs lack cohesive devices and logical transitions to connect sentences smoothly. For example, sentences like 'Water is a natural resource. And every human deserves access to clean water.' are disjointed and rely on repetitive phrasing rather than sophisticated referencing. To improve, you should ensure a logical flow between ideas and make more accurate use of cohesive devices.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is minimally adequate for the task, featuring basic and somewhat repetitive terms such as 'clean water', 'basic human right', and 'natural resource'. You attempt to use less common vocabulary like 'dessertation' (desertification) and 'waterborne diseases', but there are noticeable errors in word choice, form, and spelling that occasionally cause confusion for the reader. Furthermore, the opening outline of bullet points shows a reliance on disjointed keywords rather than fluent phrasing. To achieve a higher score, you need to expand your lexical range and use less common lexical items with greater precision and correct spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The text shows a limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and a few basic complex forms which are sometimes faulty. There are noticeable errors in grammar, such as missing articles ('impact on health of individuals' instead of 'the health'), incorrect prepositions, and punctuation issues like a missing space after a full stop in 'fresh water. This may'. Frequent errors are present, which can occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. To progress, you should aim to use a wider variety of complex grammatical structures with increased accuracy and better control over punctuation and articles.
