Access to clean water is a essential for human survival, and some individuals believe that every household is provided free water suply because clean water is a basic human right. I largely agree with the givan statements, although I believe that free access should be provided withen a reasonable limits.
First of all, wheather clean water is provided for every house with free is a considerably debate. Clean water is a necessary for good health and preventing diseases. People need to water for drinking, cooking, and basic hygiene. If water get a through a buy money, so meny pupil face issues. In perticularly, low-income families may struggle to cover their basic living expenses. If water were completely unavailable to them cuasing it's cost, they could face serious health problems. Therefore, government should ensure that every household has access to a sufficient amount of safe water.
Additionally, anouther reasons for providing free water is that can led to improving living standards and reduce social inequality. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the task only partially and the length requirement is not met, as the essay is significantly short of the two hundred and fifty-word minimum. The writer presents a clear position regarding whether clean water should be provided free of charge, agreeing with the statement within reasonable limits. However, the ideas are limited and under-developed, lacking sufficient extension and support. For instance, the discussion on low-income families facing health problems due to cost is introduced but not fully explored with detailed examples or further reasoning. To reach a higher level, the writer needs to expand the response to meet the minimum length requirement and develop each supporting idea more thoroughly with clear explanations and relevant examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some organisation evident in the essay, with an introduction and body paragraphs attempting to follow a logical sequence. However, there is no clear overall progression, and the response trails off abruptly at the end of the second body paragraph due to the insufficient length. Cohesive devices are sometimes inaccurate or overused, such as repetitive transitions like 'First of all' and 'Additionally'. Referencing and logical connections between sentences occasionally feel disjointed, for example in the sentence starting with 'If water get a through a buy money'. Paragraphing is attempted, but the final paragraph remains incomplete. To improve, the writer should ensure each paragraph builds logically on the previous one, use a wider variety of accurate cohesive devices, and complete all introduced points properly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate for expressing basic ideas. There is an attempt to use less common items, but this results in noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and spelling that occasionally cause some difficulty for the reader. Examples include 'a essential', 'water suply', 'givan statements', 'withen', 'wheather', 'buy money', 'meny pupil', and 'hoseholds'. These lexical and spelling inaccuracies impede smooth communication. To achieve a higher score, the writer must expand their lexical range, pay closer attention to word formation and spelling, and ensure that terms are used with appropriate collocations rather than literal translations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response demonstrates a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying mostly on simple sentences alongside attempts at complex forms that are frequently faulty. There are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation throughout the text that can cause difficulty for the reader. Examples of grammatical inaccuracies include subject-verb agreement issues and misuse of articles or prepositions, such as 'every household is provided free water suply', 'Clean water is a necessary for good health', 'People need to water', and 'government should ensure'. Additionally, conditional structures are poorly handled, as seen in 'If water get a through a buy money, so meny pupil face issues.' To progress, the writer needs to increase sentence variety and improve control over basic and complex grammatical structures.
