Student answer (Band 5.0)
i am agree with this statement that clean water is the human rights because every human being deserve clean water in there house .
However, there are many adventages pf getting clean water because government is the one to provide clean and pure water to the people of their city . Nowadays, there are many people who is not getting enough water for drink or working on there hone like cooking or etc. Moreover, small area only get water in hours like government fix their timing like only in day they get 2 hours water in that time they have to do all there work like cooking, cleaning the house, watering the plants and etc.
Therefore, sometimes we feels that government do good job because in many cities which there is a all time water supply so people did not care of that like when they have to wash theri hand the tap is open which in large amount of water is wasting and sometimes many people washing their cars in which lot of waster is wasting is huge amount
In my conclusion ,I am agreeing with the statement because everyone have the right to have waternin their house because water is the essential part of their life but human being have to rhink and make the promise that they don't waste the water so that everyone get the supply of water everyime.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response partially addresses the task by expressing a clear position in the introduction and conclusion, agreeing that clean water is a basic human right and should be free. However, the ideas are limited and under-developed. For example, the mention of water scarcity and government timing in cities is introduced briefly without sufficient extension or relevant supporting examples from personal knowledge. Furthermore, the length requirement is not met, as the response falls short of the minimum two hundred and fifty-word count. To reach a higher band, the writer needs to expand fully on each main point, provide well-developed arguments regarding the economic and social implications of free water, and ensure the essay meets the required length.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation evident in the essay, with a clear attempt at an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, there is no clear overall progression of ideas, and the paragraphing is irregular and confusing, with large gaps and abrupt transitions. Cohesive devices are sometimes inaccurate or overused, such as the repetitive use of 'however', 'moreover', and 'therefore' to link loosely connected ideas. Referencing is also unclear in places, such as when the pronoun reference 'there' or 'their' is misused. To improve, the writer should ensure each paragraph has a clear central topic, logical sequencing, and more accurate and varied cohesive ties to guide the reader smoothly through the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task, demonstrating basic word choices such as 'good job', 'big amount', and 'human rights'. There are noticeable errors in word choice, spelling, and word formation throughout the text, including 'adventages', 'rhink', 'theri', 'waster', and 'everyime'. These errors and limited lexical control occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. To achieve a higher band, the writer must expand their vocabulary range by incorporating less common lexical items, improving control over spelling, and using more precise academic collocations related to public utilities and human rights.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer demonstrates a limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and basic compound forms. Attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, leading to run-on sentences and grammatical inaccuracies. There are frequent errors in verb forms, tense consistency, subject-verb agreement, and articles, such as 'i am agree', 'human being deserve', 'government is the one', 'people who is not getting', and 'everyone have the right'. Punctuation is also weak, with missing spaces and incorrect comma placements. To move up to the next band, the writer needs to demonstrate a greater variety of complex sentence structures with improved control and significantly fewer grammatical errors.
