Student answer (Band 6.0)
Some people believe that having accessibility to pure water is a basic right of human beings due to the fact every house should be provided a water supply which is free of cost. I wholeheartedly concur with this notion, polluted water can be harmful for living beings so individuals must be offered fresh and clean water at homes for their everyday usage.
One compelling argument in the favour of supplying fresh water is that drinking polluted water can be injurious for health because it contains bacteria and other microorganism which are capable of spreading different health diseases like liver cancer and digestion problems. For instance, Africans Life is a documentry which is based on having lack of access to clean water sources and food. It documents that how people suffer from various serious health complication just by using dirty water. Moreover, many people would face financial difficulties beacuse of hospital bills and medications as they can be quite expensive.
Another significant reason is that if people use polluted water for taking bath and washing face it can lead to skin issues. For instance, using dirty water for showers can cause csytic acne which is very difficult to treat. In addition, it can lead to hair loss, urinary tract infections and itchy body. It can be really poisnous for pregnant ladies and affect their unborn child negatively.
To put it in a nutshell, having access to hygienic water is a basic human right and every individual must be provided with a clean water supply for their daily tasks. I strongly agree because using clean would prevent the birth of dangerous health diseases and people would live a healthy and happy life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all parts of the task and present a clear position throughout, agreeing that clean water should be provided free of charge. Your main ideas are relevant and support your stance, such as discussing the health benefits and prevention of waterborne diseases. However, some ideas are more fully developed than others. For example, your first body paragraph introduces the example of a documentary titled 'Africans Life', but the explanation remains slightly general and lacks specific detail to fully substantiate the argument. Similarly, your second body paragraph lists several physical consequences like 'csytic acne' and hair loss, but these points are stated rather than extended. To reach a higher level, you need to ensure that every supporting example and idea is thoroughly explored and fully elaborated with greater depth and precision.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
Your essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear progression of ideas from the introduction through to the conclusion. You use logical paragraphing, with each body paragraph focusing on a distinct aspect of the prompt, such as internal health complications and external skin issues. In terms of cohesive devices, you successfully employ transition markers like 'One compelling argument', 'Moreover', and 'Another significant reason' to guide the reader through your arguments. However, cohesion is occasionally somewhat mechanical, and referencing is not always completely clear, such as the transition into your documentary example. To achieve the next level, you need to use a wider and more flexible range of cohesive devices naturally and unobtrusively, ensuring that relationships between sentences and paragraphs are seamless.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common items such as 'injurious for health', 'urinary tract infections', and 'hygienic water'. Your writing communicates your meaning clearly despite some inaccuracies in word choice, spelling, and word form. For instance, you use 'accessibility' instead of 'access', write 'documentry' with a spelling error, and refer to 'csytic acne' and 'poisnous'. Additionally, phrases like 'health diseases' and 'taking bath' show minor collocation slips. These errors do not impede communication, but they prevent you from achieving a higher band. To improve, you should refine your control of less common vocabulary, check your spelling carefully, and focus on natural word combinations and collocations appropriate for academic writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, successfully incorporating relative clauses and conditional structures, such as 'which are capable of spreading' and 'if people use polluted water'. There are some errors in grammar and punctuation throughout your essay, including missing articles ('due to the fact every house', 'using clean would prevent'), preposition misuse ('in the favour of'), and subject-verb agreement issues. However, these errors are relatively infrequent and rarely impede communication, allowing the reader to follow your arguments without difficulty. To reach a higher standard, you should aim for a greater proportion of error-free complex sentences, paying closer attention to article usage, prepositions within grammatical patterns, and precise punctuation control.
