Student answer (Band 4.5)
Now a days the access to clean water is topic for considerable debate and this is a basic human right to get a clear hydrogen, Some group believe that every residence should have a clean water supply to be provided free of cost.I am fully agree with this demand.
Overall in the different countries they have very different rules for water ,some countries provide water free of cost where some territory like USA have there own water utility system where citizens have to pay water tax but they are getting water supply to there house 24/7 on other hand some region in somania they dont even have access to crystal water where food, water ,clothes and shelter is basic human need but so many regions are currently suffering with such basic demands.
Meanwhile some people agree with the demand of clear water which is very understandable but they also need water supply free of cost, But government also taking such measures where they provide clear water supply to inhabitants which includes such major steps like building dams , rain water harvesting and large number of water filter plants which require lots of foundation to maintain that also require large amount of man power which not easily managable so that is only reason government charges to provide clean water also the supply require connection to houses.
Tax on water is very beneficial specifically ,currently a drinkable water on earth is in low quantity so

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
The response addresses the prompt partially, attempting to discuss whether clean water should be provided free of charge, but the ideas remain limited and under-developed. Although you state your position clearly by saying 'I am fully agree with this demand', the supporting arguments in the body paragraphs lack sufficient extension and tend to drift into general observations about global water distribution rather than directly debating the economic policy of free water supplies. Furthermore, the response falls short of the minimum length requirement of 250 words, containing only 243 words, which restricts the depth of your analysis.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The text displays some overall organisation, but there is no clear logical progression between sentences and paragraphs. Paragraphing is attempted, but the divisions are awkward, such as splitting connected thoughts prematurely or grouping contrasting ideas together. Cohesive devices are used rather repetitively and inaccurately, with phrases like 'on other hand' and 'Meanwhile' failing to establish smooth logical links. Additionally, referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the exact trajectory of your argument from one point to the next.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
Your vocabulary range is limited and minimally adequate for the task. You attempt some less common terminology, such as 'rain water harvesting' and 'water utility system', but these are accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and word form, such as 'clear hydrogen', 'crystal water', and 'somania'. There are also frequent issues with phrasing, like 'manageable so that is only reason government charges', which can cause some difficulty for the reader in fully grasping your intended meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writing demonstrates a very limited range of structures, relying primarily on simple sentences and basic coordination. Your attempts at more complex sentence forms are often faulty, as seen in run-on sentences and problematic clause attachments like 'which not easily managable so that is only reason...'. There are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation, including missing articles, incorrect prepositions, and verb-form inconsistencies such as 'government also taking' and 'people agree... but they also need', which can occasionally cause difficulty and strain for the reader.
