Student answer (Band 5.0)
The basic human right include the access of clean water in every houshold at free of cost. I agree this, because the water is the basic human need, not every person would afford this expense too. rather than having tax and bill on water it should be free of cost in every household.
To commence with, Water is basic thing which every household want whether they are rich or poor, without water you cannot do daily basic things like household chores, shower, bath, and drinking. To elloborate this, water is the basic human need to live if we cannot get enough water we cannot survive in this world, For instance, if i didnt drink water around one to two hours i can suffocated and could be died. Thus, water is important for your life.
Futhermore, water should be free of cost because it is a natural thing which god has created, how someone get charge of that thing from us. In other words, water is a nature's thing why people get commission between river to houses. For example, from river water can go to NASA water supplier and then it reached to our houses in between the people sat and get commission from us and sending the bills in sense of commcission. thus it would be banned if anyone wants the payemtn regarding the water supply.
In conclusion, I agree everyones that water would be free for everyone because it is a nautres thing also it is a basic need for every household. If they apply taxes and bilss how can a middle class even a poor peoples afford that live his peaceful life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you agree that household water should be free, and you give reasons based on affordability and water’s importance for survival. The examples about daily activities and the route from a river to homes are relevant to the topic. However, the argument is only partly developed. The claim that water is natural and therefore should not be charged does not address the costs of treating, transporting, and maintaining a water supply. The personal example about not drinking for one or two hours is also not convincing support for the claim that water must be free. Develop your reasons with more realistic evidence and explain how free provision could be funded or managed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphs generally focus on separate reasons, and signposts such as “To commence with,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” help show the intended progression. However, the links between ideas are sometimes mechanical or unclear. For example, “In other words” introduces a point that largely repeats the claim that water is natural, while the explanation about people receiving “commission” is difficult to follow. The conclusion repeats the main position but adds a question about affordability without resolving it. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make each paragraph progress through a clear claim, explanation, and relevant support.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “basic human need,” “household chores,” “water supply,” and “taxes,” so the reader can identify your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated, particularly “free of cost,” “basic,” and “water.” Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “get commission between river to houses” and “a nature’s thing,” which make parts of the argument difficult to understand. Spelling errors such as “elloborate,” “Futhermore,” and “payemtn” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise vocabulary for public services and costs, and check spelling and natural word combinations when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including a conditional idea in “if we cannot get enough water we cannot survive in this world.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and punctuation sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “The basic human right include” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “I agree this” is missing a grammatical link. The sentence beginning “For instance, if i didnt drink water” also shifts awkwardly between conditional forms and lacks appropriate punctuation. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then use complex clauses with consistent verb forms. Proofread for capitalisation, sentence boundaries, and commas.
