Student answer (Band 5.5)
The basic human right is to get clean and fresh water and every home should have a water supply for free of cost. in my opinion i fully agreed with this statement.
In my country there are some lacking of to accees a fresh water , cause nowdays the water cost is increasing year by year and majoirty of people has not to be paye of that that's the main issue. For example : Today's modern day many of the rural people, and villagers they still using the sewage water instead of using pure and clean water due to the lacking of system and high cost .And for using the sewage water they got infect many of the health problems such as maleria , bacteria , some times cancer , stomach issues and many more. cause there is some lacking of the country's system to get pure and clean water for everyone and free of cost.
For my personal perspective the clean and fresh water is the major body source and every home should apply that , cause they protect the body with the better taste and hydration , prevents illness , improves digestion , boosts brainf function adn many more. So for that , government should shifting the the sewage pipes far from the villages and rural areas or city areas also. and implementing the water purify for free of charges. so they got beneficial for the clean and fresh water.
In conclusion , I fully agreed with to provided clean water in free of cost cuase this is basic human right and every home shold applied that. cause they protect our body with mulitple healt problems , they get better taste and hydration , improves digestion and many more.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction—“I fully agreed with this statement”—and remains consistent in the conclusion. You give relevant reasons for free household water, including affordability, health risks from unsafe water, and the government’s role in providing clean supplies. The example of rural residents using sewage water helps connect the issue to real consequences. However, some points are asserted rather than explained: the list of health effects is not clearly linked to contaminated water, and the benefits of hydration and digestion are repeated without showing why free provision is necessary. Develop these ideas with a specific example or explanation, and address how the service could be funded or managed to make the argument more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, supporting paragraphs, and a conclusion. The main ideas generally follow a sensible order, moving from access and cost to health and government action. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several points are joined in long, loosely connected sentences. Repeated connectors such as “cause,” “and,” and “so” make the links feel mechanical, while references such as “they” in “they protect the body” are unclear. The conclusion also repeats much of the body rather than bringing the argument together. Use clearer topic sentences, divide explanations into shorter units, and make pronoun references explicit to improve cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “human right,” “sewage water,” “rural areas,” “hydration,” and “implementing,” so the reader can understand the subject and your main concerns. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning less clear. Examples include “lacking of to access,” “free of cost,” “got infect,” and “water purify.” Spelling errors such as “majoirty,” “maleria,” and “healt” also reduce accuracy. Aim to learn common phrases as complete units and check spelling carefully. More precise terms such as “water supply,” “water treatment,” and “waterborne illnesses” would help express your ideas more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons and examples, but control of sentence structure is inconsistent. Errors in verb forms and agreement appear in phrases such as “I fully agreed,” “people has,” and “government should shifting.” Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention: the opening begins “in my opinion” after a full stop, and several sentences run together or begin with lowercase “cause.” These problems sometimes make relationships between ideas harder to follow. Practise forming clear subject–verb–object sentences, then add subordinate clauses with accurate verb forms. Check agreement, articles, capitalisation, and punctuation when editing.
