Student answer (Band 5.0)
In recent years, there is an on going debate about the clean water accessibility is necessary for every human so water supply should be free of cost for everyone. Access to water is a fundamental rights of humans but I partly agree with this view because water is essential for living beings.I believe that there are some charges apply for access of unlimted water and in some rurual areas water supply should be free of cost.
Water is a fundamental part of humans life. They need water for many house chores. For instance, access to the unlimted water are leads to limitation of water. In dubai there are many desserts and they do not have enough water to survive. As a result they suffer from the water limited supply. Government should apply heavy charges to unlimted access of water.
However, Humans are suffering from financial crisis. They have limited access to clean water. In addition, in many rural areas water is not good for health. For example, the population which are living around factory areas, suffereing from health issues. Authorities should supply them a clean water to survive and apply no charges on it. Therefore they live a hapyy and healthy life. Farmers in that area also suvive because due to chemical water their fields the fruits and vegetables are dangerous for health. As a result humans also survive by eating these supply of vegetables. the economy of country also suffer with this polluted water.
In conclusion, although water supply should be free for everyone but i partly agree with this statement because unlimted access to water supply can leads to wastage of water. Government should apply heavy charges on unlimted access.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a recognisable, partly qualified position: you support free clean water in some rural communities but argue that unlimited use should incur charges. This responds to the central issue, and the examples about factory pollution and water scarcity are relevant. However, the distinction between a basic household supply and unlimited consumption is not clearly explained, so your position can seem to shift between free water for everyone and charges for access. Some supporting points are also difficult to follow, particularly the claim that unlimited access leads to water limitation and the explanation of how polluted water affects farmers and the economy. State your policy clearly, then develop each reason with a direct explanation or a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “For instance,” “However” and “In conclusion” help show the intended structure. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear, and connections between claims are sometimes difficult to follow. For example, the first body paragraph moves from household chores to unlimited access and then to Dubai without clearly explaining the link between these points. In the second, the discussion shifts from rural health to farmers and the national economy. Some linking phrases are used mechanically, while references such as “these supply of vegetables” are unclear. Organise each paragraph around one main reason and use explicit links to show how each example supports it.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “fundamental,” “financial crisis,” “rural areas,” “polluted water” and “chemical water.” This gives you enough language to communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make meaning less clear, such as “water accessibility,” “water limited supply” and “heavy charges to unlimited access.” Spelling errors, including “unlimted,” “rurual,” “suffereing” and “suvive,” are also noticeable. Aim to learn common collocations for this topic and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions for household provision, water scarcity and excessive consumption would help you explain your argument clearly and avoid repeating “water” and “access” in similar forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a contrast introduced by “although.” However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty. Examples include “there are some charges apply,” “the unlimited water are leads” and “unlimited access to water supply can leads,” where verb forms and sentence structure are not controlled. Agreement and articles are also inconsistent, as in “a fundamental rights” and “Authorities should supply them a clean water.” Punctuation and capitalisation errors, such as “living beings.I” and “Humans,” add to the difficulty. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly formed subordinate clause, then check agreement, articles and verb forms.
