Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You identify the importance of clean water and give relevant reasons, including health, digestion, and the difficulty of obtaining clean water in your country. However, the central question is whether every home should receive water free of charge, and your position on this is not stated clearly or maintained. The discussion shifts between health benefits, government provision, and a neighbour’s advice without explaining who should pay or how free supply could be provided. The comparison with Europe and London is also asserted rather than supported. The response is 29 words below the required minimum, which further limits the space available to develop your argument. State your agreement or disagreement in the introduction, then explain and support two focused reasons.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is some basic progression: you begin with the importance of clean water, move to its health benefits, and then discuss availability and personal experience. Examples such as the need to buy clean water help connect the topic to your country. However, the response is presented as one continuous paragraph, so the main points are not clearly separated. Several ideas are joined mechanically with “and” or “for example,” and the repeated claim that clean water is important does not create a clear line of argument. The final personal anecdote feels added on rather than linked to a conclusion. Use separate paragraphs for your position, supporting reasons, and conclusion, and make each paragraph advance one main idea.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

Your vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the general topic, with relevant expressions such as “clean water,” “drinking water,” “health,” and “government.” You also attempt more specific phrases, including “water supply” and “proper filter water.” However, the range is narrow and key terms are repeated frequently, especially “clean water” and “very important.” Several spelling errors, such as “everday,” “avilable,” “experince,” and “beacuse,” reduce accuracy, while phrases such as “for their humans” and “free clean water is big problem” are not natural English. Build a small set of accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations; this will make your meaning clearer and less repetitive.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You communicate mainly through simple statements and make some attempts to connect clauses, for example, “if we drink lot of water then our body system work perfectly.” However, sentence structures are repetitive, and errors in articles, agreement, verb forms, and punctuation occur throughout. Examples include “clean water is basic human right,” “Every human need,” and “our body system work.” The opening also has a fragment beginning “and the most important thing,” while several sentences run together without clear punctuation. These errors sometimes make the relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled conditional and reason clauses, checking articles, subject–verb agreement, and sentence boundaries.
