Student answer (Band 5.0)
Access to clean water is a basic human right. therefore every home should have a water supply that is provided free of cost.I am disagree for this the reason for why i am disagree is elaborated in the following paragraphs.
In this modern era every individual and in evry urban centers or rural area can use the water cause without water there is no life. In additionaly, there are sevreal reasons why goverment have to collect the water charge cause many diffrent people have diffrent mindset like some have no value how water is very important they can just ignoring them. few individual do waste the water like there is unlimited source. however, the water is limited source. In additionaly, in some area peoples are dying for the water cause in some area there is no water or no rainfall.
Furthermore, few people waste the water cause he thought it is free so whyshould we use for limit. but the reality is the earth is 70 percent of water but it is not for drinking cause that is salt water only 20 to 25 percent water for drinking in the earth. The reason why goverment should have to apply cost for the water because many people can use in that for limit and they can learn some lession from that why water is important.
In conclusion i am strongly diagre cuase water is limited source and in future it is out of stock and for many people thought the lession why water is important for that govermnet have to apply water charges so people can use in limit.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you disagree with free household water, and you give relevant reasons, especially that charging may discourage waste and that usable water is limited. However, the response addresses the issue only partially because the reasons are asserted more than explained. For example, the claim that people will “use in limit” if charged needs a clearer link between pricing and conservation, ideally with a specific example. The point about areas without rainfall is relevant but is not connected fully to whether every home should receive water free of charge. The response contains 246 words, so it falls four words short of the 250-word minimum; the 22 words copied from the task prompt are not counted. Develop the argument and add a relevant example to meet the requirement and support your position more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the main position is repeated at the end. Some linking expressions, such as “Furthermore” and “In conclusion,” help signal stages in the argument. However, progression within the paragraphs is not always clear. The first body paragraph moves from access to water, to people wasting it, and then to drought without explaining how these points connect. “In additionaly” is repeated, while “however” does not clearly establish a contrast with the preceding idea. The conclusion also repeats earlier claims rather than drawing them together. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, then explain it in a logical sequence and use referencing and linking phrases more precisely.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “basic human right,” “limited source,” “rainfall” and “salt water,” so the reader can identify the subject and your main concerns. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling problems make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “I am disagree,” “collect the water charge,” “apply cost,” and “out of stock”; these are not natural expressions for discussing water pricing or scarcity. There are also repeated basic words such as “water,” “people” and “important,” and misspellings such as “goverment” and “diffrent.” Build a more precise set of topic phrases and check spelling, word forms and collocations so your ideas are expressed clearly and naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because,” and the overall meaning can usually be followed. However, the range is limited, and attempts to combine ideas often produce faulty sentence structures. For example, “I am disagree for this the reason for why i am disagree” does not form a clear grammatical sentence, while “few people waste the water cause he thought” has problems with articles, pronoun agreement and clause construction. Subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “every individual … can use” followed by an unclear continuation. Practise writing complete sentences with one clear main clause, then add subordinate clauses accurately. Check verb forms, articles, agreement and punctuation before submitting.
