Student answer (Band 5.5)
Water is very essential for every living organisam in the world and without the water any species do not think about to survive. So many individuals says that, water is a basic human right and government should have to distribute it equally among the citizens of a nation without any fees. I am agree with the statement and discribe about it in the upcoming paragraph.
To embark upon, water are cover a big part of our planet and parcntage of water is more than the land availabe on the earth but only few percent of water is fresh water other remaing water is very salty so we are not able to drink that. In many areas of world, people not have the access of fresh water and companies sell the water bottles on high prices. So government should have ot provide them a proper supply of fresh water because without the water there is a serious impact on the people health. For example, in africa thousands of people die because they do have access of the fresh water the reason behind this is climate sitution of the region.
Furthermore, individuals choose the government so it is the responsibility of govenment to provide fresh water to citizens of the nations. It is easy to see the discriminations between the societies which are done by the government of local area. Rich people do not have to worry about the water because they have the proper supply but for poor people they have to stand in lines for hours and still they do not get the enought water. So government should have to fix this problem.
In conclusion, water is daily use of item for every human being so govenment should not have to charge for this instead of this they have to provide properr facality of water.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction (“I am agree with the statement”) and remains consistent: you argue that governments should provide clean water without charge. You give relevant reasons, including the health consequences of unsafe or unavailable water and the unequal access experienced by poorer people, and you include an example about deaths in Africa. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained. The Africa example is broad and its link to free household provision could be clearer; likewise, the claim that citizens choose governments needs further development. To strengthen the response, explain how free provision could be funded and clarify whether you mean unlimited free water or a basic household supply.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present reasons, and a conclusion restates your position. Paragraphing helps distinguish the health argument from the fairness argument. You also use signposts such as “Furthermore” and “In conclusion.” However, some linking is mechanical, particularly “To embark upon,” and several sentences are joined in ways that make the progression less smooth. For example, the discussion moves from the proportion of fresh water to bottled-water prices and then to health without clearly showing each connection. Use simpler, more precise transitions and make the relationship between claims explicit. Clearer referencing would also help readers follow who “they” refers to in places.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “fresh water,” “proper supply,” “discriminations,” and “citizens.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “the responsibility of government.” However, the range is limited and several word choices, collocations, and spelling errors make the writing less natural or occasionally harder to understand. Examples include “water are cover a big part,” “high prices,” and “properr facality.” Some expressions are repeated, especially “provide” and “water.” Build a more accurate range of topic vocabulary and check spelling carefully. More precise phrases such as “access to safe drinking water” and “water infrastructure” would help express your ideas clearly and appropriately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, using structures such as “because without the water there is a serious impact…” and “which are done by the government.” The overall meaning is generally understandable, but some errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction remain. For example, “water are cover” should use a singular subject and a correctly formed verb, while “individuals says” has a subject–verb agreement error. “I am agree” also needs a different verb pattern. Several sentences combine clauses without clear punctuation, which affects readability. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then extend them with subordinate clauses. Proofreading for agreement and verb forms would make your argument easier to follow.
