Student answer (Band 5.5)
Humans should be accessed to thr clean water as it's their basuc right. Every houses should be given the supply of clean water. I highy agree with the clean water supply being free of charge and because it us one of the most important part of survival as it directly deals with human health and it is government responsibility to givw access to free water supply.
Human being depends on water for several purposes. They tend to use water for their daily necessities from drinking to bathing. Water is the mean for survival as it is directly realted to how a human bidy functions. Without water, humans don't go a day. Moreover, water is directly linked with human helath. For instance, if someone drank the polluted water, he/she mught end up in the hospital with cholera. Poor water is also home to several disease transferring mosquitos who lay there eggs and later infect the water. Many diseases are spread through the careless supply of of water.
Governments should be highly responsible for providing the clean access to water supply to its citizens as its one of their basic right. They should be careful on the water supplies which may result on several diseases and impact it's citizen health. Many citizens don't have access due to lack of their budget, who tend to neglect their health in order to survive. Later, these negligence cost them their lfie. For example: a poor man, relying on poor water supply which in future costs him his life. As discussed, water is one of the basic need of human being which should be accessed without any charge. People should be able to enjoy the fresh and clean water supplied to them.
In conclusion, watwr is the basic right of a human being and should be accessed free of cost. Government should be accountable towards the health of its citizens. Water is the basic and most essential part of life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you strongly agree that clean water should be provided free, and you return to this view in the conclusion. You give relevant reasons, especially water’s role in survival and health, and the example of illness from polluted water helps illustrate the risk. You also address government responsibility and explain that people with limited budgets may be unable to access safe water. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained: the example of a poor man dying from poor water is hypothetical and lacks detail, and the discussion does not explore how free provision could be funded or managed. Develop these ideas with a specific, realistic example and clearer explanation of the link between free access and better health outcomes.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The first body paragraph focuses on water’s importance and health risks, while the next turns to government responsibility and affordability, so the overall arrangement is coherent. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “For instance,” and “In conclusion” help signal relationships between ideas. At times, however, connections are mechanical or unclear. The sentence beginning “Many diseases are spread through the careless supply of of water” repeats the previous health point without showing how it advances the argument, and “As discussed” introduces a repeated claim rather than a new step in the reasoning. Use clearer references and make each paragraph progress from claim to explanation and evidence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “polluted water,” “human health,” “daily necessities,” and “government responsibility.” These choices make your main ideas understandable, but the range is limited and several noticeable spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision. Examples include “basuc,” “helath,” and “watwr,” as well as the unnatural phrase “clean access to water supply.” Some expressions are also imprecise, such as “disease transferring mosquitos” and “poor water.” Aim for accurate collocations and more specific terms, such as “access to a safe water supply,” “disease-carrying mosquitoes,” and “contaminated water.” Proofreading spelling and avoiding repeated use of “basic” and “water” will also make the writing more controlled.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “if someone drank the polluted water” and a relative clause in “citizens … who tend to neglect their health.” The main argument is generally understandable, but errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles and punctuation occur often enough to make some sentences awkward. For example, “Every houses should be given” has a number-agreement problem, while “it us one of the most important part” contains errors in the verb and noun form. The opening sentence also has an unclear construction, and the long sentence beginning “I highy agree” joins several ideas without effective control. Practise building accurate sentences first, then combine them using subordinate clauses and check agreement and punctuation.
