Student answer (Band 4.5)

Water is essential part of the human, why it is essential because human didn't have the water people was die. people any work used the water in there daily life. Access to clean water is a basic human right, therefore every home should have a water supply is provided free of charge. I strongly agree this statement because the water is crucial part of the human activities in daily lifes and drinking water as well as used the indrustrial areas.

Fisrt thik i agree with the statement because human daily activites needed to water such as drinking, making food, shower, clean cloths and home. while if not the water supply people was die. Therefore, water supply is free of cost to provided the goverment as well as united nation. People need clean water in different daily activites doing work. So, every nation goverment has been free of cost provided the clean water.

Secondly, next think i argue this statement because of people to recive the clean water is a basic human right. In UN regulated the rules every people can need the water and this is people human right and free of cost provided the every home clean water. Some people didn't have any clean water to drinking the water and no supply the goverment. It is the big problem in our society. However, this is not achieve the human right in the people.

In conclusion, Access to clean water is a basic human right, therefore every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charge. Water is the important thing about the daily life in human.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You state a clear position—“I strongly agree”—and give relevant reasons, including water’s role in daily activities and the idea that access is a human right. However, these points are mostly asserted rather than explained or supported with a specific example, and the second body paragraph repeats the human-rights claim without developing its implications. The response also does not meet the required minimum: it contains 230 words, and the 40 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. To strengthen the response, explain how free provision could work, address a possible concern such as cost or waste, and add a concrete example showing why universal access matters.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “Firstly,” “Secondly” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is weak: several sentences repeat that water is necessary or a human right, rather than adding a new step to the reasoning. Some links are unclear, as in “while if not the water supply people was die,” and “However” does not clearly introduce a contrast with the preceding point. Develop one main idea in each paragraph, connect each explanation directly to its claim, and use referencing and linking words only where their relationship is clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use basic vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “clean water,” “human right,” “water supply” and “daily activities,” so the central subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “free of cost” and “daily activities.” Inaccurate word choice, spelling and collocation sometimes make the message difficult to follow, for example “indrustrial areas,” “Fisrt thik,” and “people to recive the clean water.” Aim to use a small range of precise topic vocabulary and check spelling and natural combinations of words. For instance, “provided free of charge” is more natural than “free of cost provided,” and “access to safe drinking water” can express the main idea clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a reason introduced by “because” and a contrast beginning with “However.” Nevertheless, sentence structures are very limited overall, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction can distort meaning. Examples include “human didn't have the water people was die,” “people any work used the water,” and “every home should have a water supply is provided free of charge.” Several sentences also join ideas without clear grammatical links. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. For example: “People need water for drinking and cooking. Without a reliable supply, their health is at risk.”
