Student answer (Band 5.0)

Well to supplied clean water to every home is the basic right of everyone, without any cost and charges. Some people want that government should provides clean water to every home. I am completely agree with it that everyone had must have to get their basic human rights without any resist and any complecation. The given essay will discuss it in details.

Firstly, the governoment should provide clean water supply to everyhome, because this is the basic right of every person under the state. For example, if the home is come under the state then the state is responsable for it to gives their right to them. Secondly, if there is anyone, Who is poor and cannot able to pay for clean water supply, so the can be easily achive the sweet water without any trouble. For example if the state not give the water supplied to everyone, then may be the poor and low classes people face too much trouble for the achivement of water, or may be not even able to access water for their need. Moreover, if the rular of the country provide complete clean water supply to everyhome without any cost, so this is one of the best way to keep happy the people of the country, and they will also become support their governament in any trouble and may be in incomming selection to salect their candidate.

In conclussion, I strongly recomended that state must to give completely water supply to everyhome of the country without any charges.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you strongly agree that the state should provide clean water to every home without charge, and you give relevant reasons, especially the difficulty poorer people would face if they had to pay. However, the response only partly develops the argument. The claim that water is a basic right is repeated rather than explained, and the point about people supporting the government or its candidate is not clearly connected to the right to water. The examples are mostly hypothetical and general, so they do not show in detail how free provision would work or why it is justified. To strengthen the response, explain each reason more fully and use a specific, relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a body paragraph using “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Moreover,” and a concluding statement. This helps the reader identify your overall position and the main reasons. However, progression within the body is not always clear: the discussion moves from state responsibility to poverty and then to political support without explaining the links between these points. Some connectors are used mechanically, and phrases such as “For example” introduce claims that are not developed into clear examples. Paragraphing the reasons separately and using clearer references to connect each explanation to its main point would make the argument easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some task-related vocabulary, including “basic human rights,” “clean water supply,” and “poor,” so the central topic is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes strains the reader. Examples include “sweet water” for clean or safe drinking water, “the achivement of water,” and “incomming selection.” There are also repeated spelling errors, such as “governoment,” “responsable,” and “conclussion.” Aim to learn accurate collocations for this topic and check spelling carefully. Replacing repeated general words with precise terms such as “access,” “affordable,” and “public provision” would improve clarity and variety.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “if,” but control is weak and errors occur throughout. For example, “Some people want that government should provides” has an incorrect verb form, while “I am completely agree” uses an incorrect structure. In “if the home is come under the state,” the verb pattern is faulty, and “the can be easily achive” makes the subject unclear. Articles, agreement, and sentence construction also cause problems in “the state is responsable for it to gives their right to them.” These errors can make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences with one clear main clause.
