Student answer (Band 5.5)
It Is often argued that use of clean water is a basic human right, so every household should have charge free clean water supply. I strongly agree with this view beacause water is a basic necessity of human wich should be pure and accible to everyone.
One major reason why i agree with this view is that water is a psychological need of an person. This is because a quality and amount of water decides the health of an individual. For example if a person is not getting quality water and necessary amount to water they can face dehydration which makes a person unhealthy. As a result water consist a major part in human life. A human body consist 70% of water which is blood. It directly affect the individual's performance.
A clean water should provided by the government to their citizens. The source of water supply matters, from where the water arrives. For instance, in India people need filters to clean their water for drinking and usage that water is not clean which contains even electricity and filter cost . While on other hand, in Europe people drinks tap water which is clean and free of cost. These difference shows the impact of government. Every person has right to have a clean water at their home. It also affects on skin and hair while bathing.
In conclusion, pure water should be accessible to everyone which gives a better quality of life. Although every home should have drinkable water as a basic needs. I completely agree with this view, athought as it is all about health which should not be any compromise.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction—“I strongly agree”—and remains consistent in the conclusion. You give relevant reasons, including the links between water quality, health, and the responsibility of government, and the India/Europe comparison provides an example. However, the argument addresses the proposal that water should be free less fully than the claim that it should be clean and accessible. The discussion of filters and tap water does not clearly explain how universal free provision would work or why households should not pay. Some points also need more precise development: the claim that the body is “70% of water which is blood” is unclear, and the effect on skin and hair is mentioned without explanation. Develop these points and connect each one directly to your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. The paragraphs generally have identifiable purposes, and linking phrases such as “For example,” “As a result,” and “In conclusion” help show relationships between ideas. However, progression within the body paragraphs is sometimes uneven. The first moves from water as a need to dehydration, body composition, and performance without fully explaining the links. In the second, the comparison between India and Europe is followed by points about rights and bathing, which feel loosely connected. Some references, such as “that water” and “These difference,” are not fully clear. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, then explain and illustrate it before moving to the next point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “basic human right,” “dehydration,” “water supply,” and “quality of life,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “psychological need,” although this is not the intended meaning in context. Word choice and collocation errors are noticeable and sometimes make the message less clear: “charge free clean water supply,” “quality and amount of water,” and “water consist a major part” are not natural formulations. Spelling and word forms also need attention, including “beacause,” “accible,” and “athought.” Build a bank of accurate topic collocations and check spelling and word forms during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause beginning “This is because” and a conditional example beginning “if a person is not getting…”. The overall meaning can usually be followed, but errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and verb forms recur. For example, “A clean water should provided” needs a passive verb form, while “A human body consist” and “It directly affect” have subject–verb agreement problems. Articles and plurals are also inconsistent in “a person” and “a basic needs.” Some sentences are awkwardly joined or punctuated, particularly the long sentence about filters and costs. Practise accurate passive constructions and agreement, and proofread each sentence for a complete, correctly punctuated structure.
