Student answer (Band 5.0)
Clean water is the basic main necessity in every household as it is a basic human right for everyone that should be provided without any charge or any amount. I totally agree for the introduction of clean water to every home in our country
To commence with, clean water is the only everyday requirement by human beings as well as other living organisms for better growth and health. We can be healthy and fully nutritious by taking regular intake after a certain interval of time as water is Being used in making food process. As vegetables need to be washed and boiled before use so the water should be neet and clean for better quality of food. Everyday regular tasks include water because the cleaning method in our homes performed by everyone in accommodation. As we have to maintain minerals and vitamins in our body for proper management and functioning of body organs it should be properly checked by water providers it should be of best quality. For an instance recent research states that people drinking quality water have the best skin as well as hair growth.
Probing further, most of the individuals are affected by drinking the water from unrealible source and getting infectious disease and pay a lot to hospitals for their treatment. There are many factors which affect our functioning of different organs by drinking water of bad quality so we should avoid drinking that quality in order to ourself healthy.
To conclude it, it is very important to protect our health so it should be necessary to drink quality water for better functioning of our body.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a clear position in the opening—“I totally agree”—and give relevant reasons concerning health, food preparation, and illness from unsafe water. However, the response only partly addresses the central proposal: it explains why clean water matters, but does not adequately discuss why household supply should be free of charge. The claim that people with quality water have “the best skin” is also not convincingly supported, and the health points are repeated rather than developed with specific explanation or examples. To strengthen the response, explain the affordability or fairness argument for free provision, consider how the service could be funded, and develop one or two reasons with a clear example. This would make your position more fully supported and consistently focused on the question.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “To commence with” and “Probing further,” and a conclusion. The ideas are generally related to clean water and health, so the reader can follow the broad direction. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: the first body paragraph moves from nutrition to food preparation, household cleaning, body minerals, and skin and hair without clearly connecting or prioritising these points. Several sentences repeat the idea that water must be clean, and the conclusion largely restates the opening. Use clearer topic sentences, group related points, and explain how each point supports free household provision. More precise referencing and fewer formulaic transitions would also make the links between ideas smoother.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “infectious disease,” “quality water,” “minerals and vitamins,” and “functioning of body organs.” This gives the response a basic range for discussing health and water. However, vocabulary is often repetitive or inaccurately combined, which sometimes makes meaning difficult to interpret. For example, “basic main necessity” repeats the same idea, “introduction of clean water” does not clearly express the proposal, and “unrealible source” contains a spelling error and an imprecise phrase. “Fully nutritious” is also an unnatural description of a person. Aim for accurate collocations such as “essential resource,” “provide a household water supply,” and “unsafe sources.” Check spelling and choose words that express the intended relationship precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause in “as it is a basic human right” and a conditional structure beginning “As vegetables need to be washed.” However, complex sentences are often faulty or difficult to follow, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “I totally agree for the introduction” has an incorrect grammatical pattern, while “the cleaning method in our homes performed by everyone” is missing a finite verb. The sentence beginning “As we have to maintain minerals and vitamins” also runs together two clauses without clear punctuation. Practise complete sentence construction, subject–verb agreement, articles, and clause boundaries. Shorter, accurately punctuated sentences would help you communicate your ideas more reliably.
