Student answer (Band 5.0)

WATER IS A BASIC NEED OF EVERY HUMAN FOR ITS SURVIVAL.MOREOVER IT IS THE RIGHT OF EVERY PERSON TO TAKE THEM .ACCORDING TO 1948 (UDHR)

UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHT NOW IT IS PROTECTED BY INTERNATIONAL LAW.

FIRSTLY,IT IS THE DUTY OF EVERY STATE THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE TO PROVIDE CLEAN AND FRESH WATER TO EVERY CITIZEN.SUBSEQUENTLY,THEY HAVE TO MAKE SUCH TYPE OF POLICIES IN WHICH EVERY PERSON CAN DRINK CLEAN WATER, MOREOVER THE DONOT HAVE TO CHARGE ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY ON THEM.

CONSEQUENTLY,THE STATE CAN ALSO SOME CHARGES ON THEIR CITZEN FOR MENTANING THE SUPPLY OF WATER BUT THEY SHOULD HAVE TO CHARGE SOME AMOUNT NOT MORE LIKE WHICH IS REASONABLE.

ONE MORE THINK THAT A STATE CAN DO IS START THE COMPAIGN IN THEIR COUNTRY FOR GETTING THE FUNDS ABOUT THE PROVIDING OF FRESH WATER TO THEIR CITIZEN.

FOR EXAMPLE WE CAN SEE CURRENTLY THE WORLD IS FACING LARGE CRISES ON FRESH WATER WHICH IS ABLE TO DRINK AND OVER 60 % OF WORLD POPULATION DONOT DRINK THE FRESH WATER,FOR REDUCING THIS PROBLEM FROM WATER WE CAN START CAMPAIGN THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA AND FROM INTERNET TO RASING FUND FOR REDUCING THIS PROBLEM.FURTHERMORE,WE HAVE TO SAVE THE CLEAN WATER FROM POLLUTION AND ALSO WE CAN SAVE IT IF THE CLIMATE CHANGE PROBLEM IS SOLVED.

FINALLY,THE IT IS THE DUTY OF EVERY STATE TO PROVIDE CLEAN AND FRESH WATER TO THEIR ALL CITIZEN IF THEY ARE ABLE TO PAY SOME FEE SO THEY HAVE TAKE THEM BUT IF THEY DONOT SO THEY HAVE TO PROVIDE THEM FREE OF COST.BECAUSE GETTING FRESH AND CLEAN WATER IS NOW THE PREVILAGE OF EVERY HUMAN BEIGN AND IT IS ALSO BESIC NECESSITY OF EVERY BODY IN THE WORLD.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your response addresses the central issue by arguing that governments should ensure access to clean water, while allowing a reasonable charge from people who can afford it. The reference to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the discussion of public funding and water conservation are relevant. However, the position is not fully consistent: the opening says water should be provided without charge, whereas the conclusion says people who can pay should pay a fee. Explain clearly whether you support free household supply for everyone or free access only for those unable to pay. The campaign and climate-change points are also less developed; explain how they would fund or protect household water supplies, and support the population statistic with a reliable or clearly framed example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is an identifiable overall sequence: you introduce the right to water, present government responsibilities and possible funding, then conclude with a recommendation. Linking expressions such as “Firstly,” “Consequently,” and “Furthermore” help signal relationships. However, the response is presented as one continuous block, so the reader cannot easily distinguish the introduction, supporting points, and conclusion. Several connectors are used mechanically or do not show a clear relationship, and ideas sometimes shift abruptly—for example, from charging citizens to social-media fundraising and then climate change. Use separate paragraphs for your position, reasons and examples, and conclusion. Make each paragraph develop one main point, and use fewer, more precise transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “Universal Declaration of Human Rights,” “clean and fresh water,” “supply,” “pollution,” and “climate change.” These terms make the subject clear, and you attempt to discuss policy and funding rather than relying only on basic statements. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings make the message less clear, such as “some charges,” “large crises,” “campaign for getting the funds,” and “privilege” (written as “previlage”). Repetition of “clean and fresh water” and “every citizen” also limits precision. Build a more accurate set of collocations for affordability, public provision and water scarcity, and check spelling and word forms before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with clauses, for example, “if they are able to pay some fee” and “if the climate change problem is solved.” This shows an effort to express conditions and reasons. However, control is inconsistent: “every person to take them” has unclear pronoun reference, and “the state can also some charges” is missing a verb. Agreement and sentence construction are also problematic in “the duty of every state that they should have to provide” and “they have take them.” Punctuation and capitalisation are not controlled, with many sentences joined by commas or written in capitals. Practise accurate subject–verb patterns and complete sentences, then use full stops to separate ideas.
