Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the contemparary era, it is true that individuals have right to drink fresh water. Hence, every house must have a water supply that provided free of cost. I completely agree with this notion because it offers numerous advangeous of fresh water.
To begin with, water is fundamental need for human life. Moreover, the government has the power to introduce the strict regulations, therefore they can supply water at every home. Another thing to be discussed here, without water human is nothing because water plays a very crucial role in humans life it is a part of our life that is why fresh water is mandatory for everyone. Apart from this, if water is not cleaned, as a result the risk of serious issues can be increased such as illness and various diseases.
First and formost , there are some parts of the worlds the range of water is not going, a clear example of this is rural areas. However, it is important to focus on some areas because water is essential for living. Secondly, the government can impose the heavy fines on people who waste the water due to which water can be saved, consequently the authorities can easily supply the water at every corner of a state which can be highly beneficial for the future careers.
In conclusion, it can be seen that water is part of people life, I strongly believe that the government should be provide water free of cost at every corner because it is very essential for everyone.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear in the introduction and conclusion: you strongly agree that households should receive water free of charge. You also give relevant reasons, including water’s importance for life and the health risks of unsafe water. However, the response only partially develops the task: it does not explain how free provision would be funded or distinguish a basic household supply from unlimited use. The point about fines for people who waste water is relevant to conservation, but its connection to free access is not made clear. Develop each main reason with a specific explanation or example, and address a likely concern such as the cost to governments, to make the argument more complete and convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the main position is easy to identify. Paragraphs broadly group related points, such as health and water access. However, progression within the body paragraphs is uneven: the second paragraph moves from government regulation to human dependence and then water quality without clearly linking these ideas. Connectors such as “Moreover,” “Apart from this,” and “Secondly” are used mechanically, and “therefore” does not clearly express the relationship between the clauses it joins. Use fewer, more precise linking expressions and organise each paragraph around one central reason, followed by explanation and an example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “fresh water,” “strict regulations,” “serious issues,” and “heavy fines,” which helps communicate the general argument. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors reduce precision: “contemparary,” “advangeous,” “first and formost,” and “the range of water is not going” are examples. Phrases such as “future careers” do not convey the intended meaning in this context, and “water is part of people life” is imprecise. Build a more accurate set of expressions for access, supply, affordability, sanitation, and conservation, and check spelling and natural word combinations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the overall meaning is generally recoverable. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently, particularly in verb forms, articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries. For example, “a water supply that provided free of cost” needs a correctly formed passive verb, while “the government should be provide” combines incompatible verb forms. In “without water human is nothing because water plays a very crucial role in humans life it is a part of our life,” clauses run together and possessive forms are missing. Practise accurate sentence patterns, including passive constructions and complex sentences with clear punctuation, and proofread for subject–verb agreement and articles.
