Student answer (Band 5.5)

In modern era, drinking clean water is basic human right for every citizens. It is dusty of the governments bodies, they must deliver clear water through piplines to every homes without taking any charges. I completly agree with this satement because it help in improving health and use in daily life. But industralization and increase population make bad impack on its usage. So its causes and solutions can be discusees in deatils in upcoming peragraphs.

On the first hand, clean water help in maintaing health, because every human need atleast 3 littres of water for ditoxine the body, proper hyderations and assist people from multiple deceases. Furthermore, it can be used in term of making food, washing clothes and cookwares. For example, an article was published on prestigious newsaper in which they mentioned that if municiple corporation did not provide clean water to citizens then it can be dangerous for health. Hence, it helps citizens from harful deseases and improved the health as well.

In contrast, the major reason of polluting clean water nowday are increased numbers of industriesa and population. Many people come from industrial cities in order to get work as result population rise. For example big cities need huge amount of water for industries and for citizens, but due to the shortage of water this need become chalangeble. As result, people and industrilest wate for water mutiple day to get fress water in order to usage for basic need.

In conclusion, industalization and surge population create to many obsctacle in front of government to provide clean water on daily basis because it is necessary to maintain human health and doing daily basic works.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear in the introduction: you agree that clean water should be supplied without charge, and you give relevant reasons about health and everyday needs. However, the response only partly develops the central proposal. Much of the essay explains why clean water is important or discusses pollution and population growth, rather than explaining why household water should be free or how this could be provided. The health example is also general and attributed vaguely to an article, so it does not strongly support the argument. To strengthen the response, explain the benefits of free access, address practical concerns such as funding or conservation, and use specific examples to develop each point.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The essay has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the reader can follow its broad focus on clean water. However, progression is uneven: the second body paragraph shifts to industrialisation and population growth without clearly connecting these issues to whether water should be free. Some linking phrases are mechanical or confusing, including “On the first hand” and “In contrast,” which suggests a contrast that is not fully established. The conclusion repeats the need for clean water but does not clearly restate the argument for free household supply. Use topic sentences that directly answer the question, and connect each example to the paragraph’s main claim.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “basic human right,” “polluting,” “shortage,” and “maintain health.” However, the range is limited and frequent spelling and word-choice errors sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow, as in “dusty of the governments bodies,” “industrilest wate for water,” and “surge population.” Several expressions are also unnatural, such as “in term of making food” and “multiple day to get fress water.” These issues fit a level where vocabulary is sufficient to convey the general topic but errors are noticeable. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations, such as “provide a water supply,” “water scarcity,” and “industrial demand.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You make some attempts to combine ideas using clauses, for example, “because every human need…” and “if municipal corporation did not provide…”. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors occur frequently in agreement, articles, plurals and verb forms. Examples include “water help,” “every citizens,” “every homes,” and “it help”; these should use consistent singular or plural forms. The opening sentence also has a faulty construction: “It is dusty of the governments bodies, they must deliver…” joins ideas without a clear grammatical relationship. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, and check subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries.
