Student answer (Band 5.5)

In the past, the government had very limited facilities for supply of the clean water to people dueto lack of resources. At present, the table is turned and the technology of water filteration was developed over the years, which helps us to provide the clean water supply to the every human. Because of that, every human can get the benifits of the pure water without any charges as clean water is a basic human need.

Considering both positive and Negative side, i can say that every home should get a free supply of clean water. To bolster my opinion, i would suggest that, the good quality water is very important to survive on earth, as per science 70% of the human body is made from the water. If water supply is not pure it will generate many unwanted decease in the human body. The veiw exists as, in the country many places are still not developed they are fighting for their daily foods because of that they cannot able to access the appropriate quality of water dueto charges.

Moreover, if goverment will provide the clean water to every people at free of cost, then they will not valued the water and use it in inappropriate way. To prevent this situation, some action need to be taken by the government such as, calculate every day average usage of water and after that only fixed liters of water will give without cost. Once, certain level of usage will cross the charges may apply and all the people have to pay for their extra usage.

In conclusion, the government must supply clean water to human with consideration of some rules and regulations.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear: you support free access to clean water, while recognising that unlimited free use could encourage waste. You give relevant reasons, including the health importance of safe water and the difficulty poorer communities may face paying for it, and your proposal to charge for use above a fixed allowance adds a practical qualification. This covers the main question and shows some development beyond a simple yes-or-no answer. However, the claim that filtration technology now makes clean water available to everyone is broad and not explained, and the health and poverty points would benefit from a specific example or fuller explanation. Develop these ideas more evenly and clarify how your proposed limits would ensure every household can meet its basic needs.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting support and a qualification, and a conclusion. The progression from the benefits of free water to the risk of waste is logical, and signposts such as “Moreover” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the argument. However, some links feel mechanical or unclear. For example, “Considering both positive and Negative side” does not clearly introduce the paragraph’s focus, while “The view exists as” does not make the connection to the preceding point easy to follow. The first paragraph also combines background claims with your position. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each example explicitly to your claim, and make references such as “they” unambiguous.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “clean water,” “water supply,” “resources,” and “usage,” and you attempt more formal expressions such as “To bolster my opinion.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the argument difficult to interpret. Phrases such as “the table is turned,” “the view exists as,” and “fixed liters of water will give” are not natural in this context. Spelling errors, including “filteration,” “benifits,” “decease,” and “goverment,” are also noticeable. Build a more reliable set of expressions for discussing access, public provision, health risks, and consumption, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise phrasing would make your ideas clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “if government will provide … then they will not valued the water,” and you use clauses to explain causes and consequences. However, control is inconsistent, especially in longer sentences, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas harder to follow. Examples include “every home should get,” followed by “every people,” and “some action need to be taken”; these show problems with agreement and sentence construction. The conditional also needs a consistent form, such as “if the government provides …, people may not value the water.” Articles and prepositions are often missing or misplaced, as in “supply of the clean water to people.” Practise accurate conditional patterns and review agreement, articles, and punctuation in complex sentences.
